This is awesome! I was so surprised that you guys spent the first half of the video in Shinshiro, my home for 8+ years. My 'Shinshiro journey' even parallels your Shinshiro segment in that I actually lived at Ioji Temple for the first 3 months of my stay there during 2010. I swept the temple grounds as 'rent' and taught at the out buildings there. There's plenty to see and do in Shinshiro. People drive for hours to see the beautiful scenery. For anyone thinking about visiting, feel free to contact me with any questions and/or other recommendations. Nagashino Shokudo (great, reasonable restaurant 5 min. walk from Ioji), Alfonso Cafe (5 min. drive East from Ioji), Chat Bakery (25 min. South-West, show up at 8:30 to get a number!). Tell them Chado sent you and you'll be well received. :) Thank you for the video, Gaijinpot!

Ooh! So cool! There’s so much cool stuff in Aichi! Seeing this defiantly makes me want to visit Aichi when I’m able to go to Japan. 😀 😀 Great Video! 😀 🙂
