In this video, I share with you top tips for becoming a sustainable florist.
Key to a sustainable floral practice is using more locally grown plants and foliage in your flower creations, extending your natural season by using everlastings and of course avoiding use of "single use" plastics like floral foam and other floral accessories which cannot be broken down or re-used.
If you would like to hear more about sustainable floristry or and how you could start to change things for the coming festive season then book for one of our online Sustainable Christmas wreath classes at fierceblooms.c...

About Me
=============================
I’m Fierceblooms, an artisan cut flower grower who creates "wild garden style” flower arrangements from a 19th Century Wharf and Cheshire canalside flower cutting garden in rural North West of England utilising sustainable floristry techniques.
I grow and arrange fresh and dried everlasting flower creations, influenced by each and every seasonal moment and the wild edges of the surrounding countryside.
My hearts desire is for everyone to return to a more seasonal, scented and sustainable floral life.

Great video. I'm a big believer in recycling and re-using and have lots of vases from the charity shops. Wreaths can be made from all sorts of branches and I use these not just for making flower wreaths but also plant supports, they are so much more attractive than shop bought. X
