I also think it’s important to note that Chels didn’t go out and “find” this girl from the original Vic video. At the beginning of said video, Chelsea says verbatim that she had no idea who this girl was, or anything about this company and someone sent it to her so she reacted to said video to bring awareness. I agree with you. I am a nonpracticing Christian and I have seen a lot of really bad people that claim they are Christian, and this goes for everything from scam artists to religious leaders who are extremely bad people... I am not going to get into a lot of detail with the latter as it deals with especially triggering content, but it does happen all the time. And the abuse commited at the hands of religious people is usually ignored in favour of religious beliefs.

I clerked for a Federal Agency during law school and got to work on a case similar to this. The head of the scam called himself a Reverend and told victims he was called by God to make Christians into millionaires. We won the case, seized what assets were left and distributed them to the victims.

SAME! I was raised in the Bible Belt and growing up was extremely conservative. Now I’m more independent than anything and I’m extremely embarrassed of my thought process 10 years ago 😅 Where I grew up going to MLM parties was huge and I’ve always HATED it. I didn’t like the fact that I was a minor and they were trying to manipulate my mother into buying me things because I was “troubled”. It was so predatory that even liking a post on Facebook was enough for these huns to create an entire party in your name and you were manipulated to believe that it would be extremely rude to decline. I lost a good friend because she asked me a question on one of MY Facebook posts (totally unrelated to any MLM) and when I responded she created a pure romance party in my name 😡 She made it extremely public and went to my friends list to add my friends even though I didn’t consent to anything. I tried to talk to her about it but she refused to cancel the party and literally made a countdown that she would tag me in EVERY SINGLE DAY. She was livid when the day of the party came and not only did I not show up, but I had messaged all my friends to ignore her posts and treat them like spam. She blocked me and never spoke to me in person again.

This lady took your first video and made it all about her. She didn't do this live to stick up for the girl in your video. She did it solely because you said bad things about the company she works for. She spoke more about herself and inserted herself in this more than she made it about the other girl. Poor thing is probably sitting at home feeling special because she actually believes that her upline is sticking up for her. Just commented this on Isabella’s video: I wish just ONE of these girls would attempt to do what you ladies do. Go through an entire video, in context, line by line, and refute the facts that are claimed. Of course they won’t because they can’t. But it’s just exhausting that they latch onto one comment (which was… factual… Her eyebrows are relatively far apart) and ignore all the relevant details.

I didn't even notice this. I know that consultants from Younique will use filters. Especially if they are trying to sell something that supposedly makes skin look younger or something like that in their before and after pictures. It's sad to see because these women are beautiful and due to society's view on aging women, they feel like they are not beautiful in the eyes of others and instead of making a campaign that fights against society's idea of what beauty is, Younique is instead taking advantage of that to keep their consultants in their company. Maybe the same thing is going on with Vic Beauty?? I don't know too much about this company, but it seems to have a toxic culture just like Younique does in terms of beauty standards.

I feel like certain "looks" matter for jobs. If you sell make up and say how good it is your make up should be good, if you sell shampoo your hair should be healthy, if you are a waitress you should look somewhat put together and clean. If you are a realtor and you show up stinking and dressed in a holy shirt it would matter.. SO yes looks present how you can be in your line of work. Also just because someone says they are Christian means nothing negative can be said about them? They can be doing something negative but we have to SHHHHHH. NO!

I also believe that when you employ your Christianity (employ specifically meaning you, for the expressed purpose of displaying your “I’m better than you” badge, tell anyone and everyone who'll listen that you're Christian), you open yourself up to being held to a higher standard of behavior. To be clear, I’m not saying that you should hide your Christianity or be ashamed of your beliefs. I’m talking about those who use their love of and obedience to God as a mechanism for elevating themselves above others. When folks do that, I automatically put them under a microscope and point out everything they do that God and Jesus might frown upon. If you want to hit people over the head with your supposed moral superiority and use that same “moral superiority” as a justification for disparaging and judging others, get ready to get called out on every imperfect thing you do that could even remotely be viewed as hypocritical. In this case, I’d ask the hunbot in question how God and his son would feel about her invoking Jesus’s name in the service of theft and outright lies. I’d also want to know why she is patently ignoring God’s proclamation that vengeance is his by electing herself the ultimate savior for the MLM movement. Before she starts beating folks over the head with her faith and slinging labels like “sinner” around on the internet, she might want to get her own house in order. She can start by acknowledging the sin inherent in MLMs and continue by telling the truth about how, why and where she and other successful MLM huns get their money.
