Btw Phil is a professional but for anyone who isn't used to removing airbags, disconnect the battery and wait 15-20 mins. The airbag on certain cars may be sensitive and can explode if handled incorrectly. Just a safety tip. 🙌🏾
Phillip, quick question. Once you unplugged the switch, could you have probed the LTBLU/WHT wire to check for voltage? Theoretically there could be a short to power somewhere in the wiring right? Or am I wrong? New-ish tech still learning. I mean you were right there, and your meter was already grounded. Would have verified the switch prior to replacing it?
