I am new to cycling and I purchased this and is absolutely great I use it for both my recently acquired bike along for my Honda motorcycle and it is totally accurate and easy to use also the finish is nice. I see this brand makes pretty cool products so feel safe when considering buying this ✌🏻
My suggestion to folks like Topeak is to add a lanyard attachment point. I easily misplace smaller tools like this one. They can get lost in a drawer or toolchest. But, I've found attaching a lanyard cord to be helpful - just hang it up, and it's there when you need it (and easy to find if you drop it at the side of the road). I used duct tape to add a lanyard to my old Topeak digital gauge, which works okay. But a dedicated fitting would be better. Not a deal breaker by any means, but nice to have.
Cool video. I have the D2 Smartguage. I don’t see much changes. The 360 degrees & it’s Matt black with a flatter design. Can you make a video comparing both SmartGauge D2X and D2 SmartGauge?
Great question. We haven't used the D2, but it's clear the D2X shares most of the features. The only spec difference seems to be that the D2X can do 260 psi vs. 250 and it's actually lighter despite being larger. If you're happy with the D2 then it's not really worth upgrading to the D2X yet.
