I've got two Topo light packs in different colour ways and use them for swimming, work (inc carrying a laptop that fits in the back sleeve ) to work or a hike by the coast. It's really robust, a lot more hardwearing than it appears. It also hasnt faded in the sun. I love them.
I really like my Topo Daypack. The zippers are heavy duty which is something I notice across all my Topo gear. This company just tends to make designs that fit my style/taste best. I love the color combos they come up with.
I use my Topo Daypack (leather base version) at work and it's great, plenty of storage and organization. The much begrudged water bottle pocket size, doesn't bother me. One side, I use for pens and such, the other does fit my 16 Oz Yeti Rambler or slim Hydro Flask. When I don't have either of those, I stick snack bars or such in the pocket to quick grab. Otherwise, I just keep my Nalgene bottle in the main compartment, when I don't have it out. I cut some foam out to put under my work laptop, in the laptop compartment, that was a easy hack.
