You played insane. Sad on the bottom wisdom rune, if you had gotten imprisonment off instead of going for meme hammer you would have gotten wisdom rune + naga kill before being ganked and it would have been way worth instead of giving them some comeback but I'm a 2k scrub. It's easy to notice mistakes. I'm sure Topson knows he messed up on that. And in fact I give major props for putting that in the footage. Most youtube dota players wouldn't show a death like that but Topson always has his editor put in those parts and that's actually super cool. Shows even pro's mess up but still he's good enough to win the game.
That's why I hate this hero. Most players in the lower bracket don't know that if you don't gank OD and he gets meteor, don't even expect the mid to be able to def the tower.
Watching W33haa play OD makes this look totally average, dare I say it even bad. I think Topson would would agree with this too. He needs more practice with OD mid to get better.
The thing is, Topson isn't an expert of just OD. He's more of a jack of all trades, master of none. He may not be the best when playing OD, but atleast his performance is consistently good with all mid heroes he plays
i hope they dont kick topson on Tundra after having a bad result in Ti. but i doubt they will keep him prolly scout a roamer in pubs then put back nine on mid. sigh
I was looking for a comment on this. Honestly makes no sense at all to me. Topson is obviously better than 99.999999% of the population, but is a slightly easier to land meteor hammer really worth forgoing TWO points in the spell???? It’s not difficult to land with 3 or 4. I do not get topsons choice here
It's not about being easier or harder to time the hammer; it's about the duration of time. With S2 only at level 2, he only needs 2 seconds to channel Meteor + insta-stun. If he upgrades his S2 to level 4, he needs to wait about 2 seconds before pressing his Meteor, which takes 4 seconds just to land the Meteor combo. That extra 2 seconds are massive, especially considering that the enemies are Magnus and Lina; immobile targets are very vulnerable.
