I now have a place that i need to add to my bucket list. I cant believe how clear fresh water looks. I have only sen water like then out to sea when i was in the navy. Thank you for sharing so that i can see places like this.

My cousin has a cabin near Traverse City. We used to go right past Higgins Lake whenever we went up to the cabin with them. Gorgeous area. Love Michigan. Great drone footage and under water footage. Fantastic video, Harold and Cindy!
I went to see my niece for the first time in Detroit Michigan and I seen other parts of Michigan as well will be heading back to go to battle creek in June thanks for the video

Love it! We just got back to Tennessee after spending the week in the thumb of Michigan. Paddling and swimming all week on Lake Huron 😄 After talking with a few locals at the campground, we added Higgins Lake to our exploring list. Torch Lake was already there. Lol Beautiful footage!
Both of the lakes are a must-see. We had heard so much about them and am glad we got to experience them. The further north you get, the more majestic they become. Awesome video! Here in Western NY, we don't see many black Squirrels but we have their cousin, the elusive and wiley Red Squirrels. Believe it or not, they love Cheese Puffs! :-)

Great video everything is so beautiful....We are trying to find a new place to vacation to we usually go to Florida Panhandle but it is so crowded there....We love to explore nature more than anything but we would like to have an “ocean like” beach with clear swimming water....I would appreciate any recommendations of a town/beach on the great lakes that’s a great central spot a nice beachy town with family oriented businesses and yes the swimming beach is a must!
Hi there! We have visited all of the Great Lakes now. I will caveat that with we have been to a limited number of areas. It depends on where you are starting from and far you are willing to drive. IMO, the western side of Michigan on Lake Michigan had the pretties beaches and amazing water. We really enjoyed the area up near sleeping bear dunes and Traverse City. There are lots of little towns along the coast in that area. All of them would be worth a visit just to experience that part of Lake Michigan!

Nice scenery but you said nothing about either campgrounds other than Higgins was closed. I thought this video was about camping.Since it is a Pure Michigan camping video and nothing about camping I have to give a thumbs down.
