Awesome girl keep up the good work I'm also working on my recovery, love my new sponcer he took mз то pay my respects to Dr Bob and to the Mayflower hotel where he was first contacted by Bill
@@carljshut The tops of her glasses aren't white. It's a special reflective coating developed by NASA to avoid lightning strikes due to her genius. True story! :)
The inclusion of Datura bit takes the whole song to a whole different terrain, nay, cosmos. It's like this rocket takes off and into the space, slowly, ecstatically rising above. Such a bliss
She played this, 'Take to the Sky' in Dublin this year and it was as though we were being torn apart. I thought nothing could better that experience but this is an incredible version. Jesus Christ, she is absolutely amazing, just gets better and better. I can't wait to see her again.
I‘m still so thankful and happy for winning a seat to this special event. It was incredible sitting so close in such a small audience. Especially this Version with extracts of Datura. So looking forward for the upcoming tour.
I have never experienced an artist that even comes close to what Tori Amos can do. She transcends everything in this world and transports her listeners to another world.
Tori magic! Easy enough for Tori to be her own rhythm section because with only one hand she gets more sound from that piano than most people could get out of the Bosendorfer with three hands!
Oh my God!!! Haven't listened to Tori much for many years, but this ? Wow!! This gives me the same goosebumps that I got when I first listened to 'Little Earthquakes' and 'Under The Pink' all those years ago...
Dang, she sounds GREAT here and honestly, there is definitely a portrait of her in an attic somewhere getting older and older because she looks and sounds better than ever here.
one of the few experiences in my life that allows my being to buzz and vibrate with energy. Tori Amos has always been a powerful inspiration for me. if her fans were the majority, it would be the tipping point that would allow our civilization to break its chains.
It's always fascinating to see how an aging artist copes with the loss of their top register. Tori's stopped octaving-up but she's found amazing compensations, other musical ways of deepening the emotional tone of the choruses-like that fucking electrifying moment at 6:26. Her hard work on this paid off; she's matured vocally every bit as well as her old hero, Robert Plant.
How did I not know this existed lol I feel like a bad Ears With Feet!:-( I was searching for a version of Datura live cause I’ve been obsessed w the song lately & revisiting it!!! I’m pleased🥰🤩💕
I think the bridge from Datura is Tori's way of making a statement on Russia's anti-gay policies. It just meshes so well "Russia, is there room in your heart for me to follow my heart."
I think so too brian absolutely. There needs to be room in peoples hearts to let people follow their hearts, in russia, and in the rest of the world. As a gay woman this performance brought me to tears.
i get that you all get how awesome she is.I just wonder if know what she really is.EXTREMELY FULL OF LOVE & DANGER IF YOU PISS HER OFF...BUT WEAVING THE MOST SACRED AND BEAUTIFUL SPELLS THROUGH THE GODDESS COMING THROUGH..YOU ARE THE MOST PRECIOUS OF CRYSTALINE AND INCARNATE OF BEINGS I HAVE EVER HEARD!🎹🎼🔓🗝♉⚳♎☿☾⚕🔬
People will speak of the myriad dimensions and tiny riddles that are the mysterious yet unflinchingly beautiful lyrics of Tori Amos for perhaps centuries to come.
TAKE TO THE SKY is always fun live. The audience usually gets onto the piano slaps. I first saw this live in Atlanta in an amphitheater. Crowd went nuts.
Tori, I'll see you July 11, check off a twenty year bucket list item. You've saved me in more ways than I can count and have been a tremendous inspiration and I'm pleased to announce I'll be bringing my own little pony, my daughter. Love you always.
