What if you could have one of the best heroes in the game, nearly right from the start?
An 11 Life Book strategy taking taking "Incarnation" as your rare spell lets you do just that.
However, there are challenges!
Mana: Torin's upkeep is 12 mana per turn! At the start he really needs Heroism to be tough enough to win battles - which requires another 2 mana per turn upkeep. See how I pull that off early in the game.
Movement: Torin is land based and slogs along at 2 squares per turn at best, 1 square at worst. See how I use Nomad rangers to scoot around at an amazing 6 squares per turn.
Other challenges include: Crossing water, flying defenders and Cracks Call.
