This absolutely needs to adapted for the T-8. I should not have to purchase a separate machine to do rotary blades. I really want this attachment because it looks like it would work great for sharpening the rotary blades used for cutting quilting material. You definitely should consider the quilting blade avenue for marketing purposes because the only decent machine on the market for that is the Model 328 from Wolff Industries and that is a very costly ordeal at $1200 and all it sharpens is rotary blades, which is very impractical; unlike my T-8 that almost sharpens anything. Definitely a need in the market begging to be satisfied by Tormek! I look forward to continuing to see Tormek innovate with excellent products in the future.

As other commenters have noted, this jig definitely needs to be re-engineered to work on the T8, preferably in a way that will handle up to 12" diameter meat slicer blades. I think most sharpeners would buy it.

Yep we need this for the T8. I have been asked many times if I can sharpen electric rotary shears for quilting and leather. Something like this jig for the t2 would probably work great. Please send me a prototype! Ha ha!
