O20 - Halloween 2020 - continues with more slowed down metal songs. This one is a great one - especially slowed down.
In some ways, it's very similar to Waking the Demon; a metal song about striking back at those who wrong you. But I think the nuance is worth discussion. There is no growling or shouting here - there's increased volume sure, but nothing beyond that. No strained vocals, just clean ones. It's far more in control than Waking the Demon, and in some ways, that makes it more dangerous. It's not an explosion - a sudden and rapid release of pressure waves. A dangerous, but short-lived event. This is an inferno. A slow, but an exponentially increasing, burn. Keep making your comments, keep taking your shots. The little pennies of insults thrown towards me. In no time at all, there will be millions and millions of dollars striking back. Just like Waking the Demon though, slowing down the song seems to increase the scale of destruction.
I think some of you are seeing the pattern behind these video backgrounds. Regardless if you have or haven't, I think this choice is obvious.
As for the font, this is another example of going after a "horror" one. To me, Gypsy Curse seemed more brutal and animalistic while this one seems more like it's a form of madness or insanity. Before the brain was removed, now it has snapped. And is being used to destroy you.
