It’s never the wrong time to dig on the local HOA. I had a lawn company come work on my grass in the front yard. They... accidentally killed everything. They used herbicide instead of fertilizer. Got a letter and fine for that. When regrowing the grass, I got another letter and fine because I had “equipment” (hose and sprinklers) in the front yard in sight of the road. Never had hate in my heart like that in my life. Only time in my life I e ever yelled at someone over the telephone. Never the wrong time to dig on the local HOA.

Yeah as long as you have a actual knowledge about the subject I reckon you could eat pizza and chase storms lol, I bet these guys have not self tuition but people that taught them even uni degrees in meteorology and or physics etc, plus been in the field and shown and taught by those in the field of storm chasing, radar and prediction, but likely most important hands on actual guidance to the visible precursors and patterns of cloud formation wind direction heat change etc, I'd love to wing it like a wannabe chasers just go after that circulating cloud but I'd say it's way way beyond simply seeing color of a cloud a extended cloud base and so on , but yeah if I had training and confidence I'd go iMax cams 4k while munching pizza huwaian or cheese and tomato with imax cam in the rear window filming a tornado in the not so distant road behind me l laughing and having a ball while recording high end 4k imax data for understanding better while being persued by the tornado. But if I was not hands on or degree tuition I'd not even go near a storm in tornado alley let alone eat a pizza while winging it for RU-vid lol

That's just good ole reed timmer you have to know how to take him there is no denying this man knows his shit I'm a trained certified skywarn storm spotter and storm chaser and I have been for 6 years now and I have read timmer as a friend in Facebook the guy is humble and awesome that's just his personality to scream I don't know why I'm guessing his passion for storms I mean my passion is storms also but you will never hear me scream I'm more calm and laid back in the field we all have our personalities that is why I don't understand why people hate on this man this man has the most tornadoes under his belt then any of us i trust reed with my life and I do look up to him even though he is only a couple years older then I am but he as more expierance in the field then I do

A lot of deaths in the storm chaser community, I'd assume.

Some important people who were very experienced got caught out and died. I think the chase community had to relearn some important lessons about Tornados AND stormchasing..and forecasting for that matter. Since then have been some notable quiet years. But the beast will wake back up.

Watch the last bit of the final episode it was because one of his chaser friends team died.

Proceeded to work on airplanes and still do as a career (at Lockheed Martin working on F-35s now). Now my interest in weather is at an all-time high & I wished I'd gone to OU & become a Meteorologist instead. I fly only for fun. I want to do a tornado tour next Spring (2020). Almost did it this year, but didn't have quite enough vacation time in my bank. I'm an airplane nut and budding weather nut, with special interest in WWII fighters and now an obsession with tornadoes.

Could also be him being neurodivergent. He reminds me of my ex who was diagnosed with ADHD and autism from time to time. (Though in the case of ADHD stimulants wouldn’t work the same way, but rather the opposite. Caffeine can lead to sleepiness, drugs like amphetamine leads to more focus/seeming more “functioning” etc.)
