It’s truly regrettable! The standard of construction for homes and even some commercial buildings in America pales in comparison to brick and mortar structures. I wish I could find and purchase a brick and mortar home, even if it implies a much higher cost per square foot. Regrettably, the market strategy is driven by the majority’s preferences. It seems people would rather buy in a 4500 sq. ft. home made of wood and poor-water-melting materials than pay the same amount for a robustly built 1500 sq. ft. home made of brick and mortar that is designed to endure.
