Sirens at devil hour.... WTH edit: this is 2 years old and i am aware that devil’s hour is not a real thing. i was also aware when i commented this. ffs, let me have some fun lol
0:07 "And not happy to find out there was no [tornado] warning". I call BS. I would be more than happy to learn that everything is okay, and we can all go back to sleep safely. I'd be even more comforted to know that my family could respond quickly in an emergency.
Me: Watching Siren head. Siren: Me and the boys: wait what. edit March 16th 2021: what the fuck edit March 20th: istg “me and the boys” is so overused, this comment isn’t funny
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH SIREN HEAD IS HERE AHHHHH YOU ARE BANNED HAHAHAHAHA IF SIREN HEAD WAS REAL THEN RUN BEFORE SIREN HEAD CATCH YOU YEAH I AM A GOOD EXPERT AT THESE THINGS YES OR NO SIREN HEAD VS LIGHT HEAD
No, what she meant was that the alarms sounded even though there was no tornado, and they weren't happy, because they were woken up for literally no reason.
Lol similar situation happened a year and a half ago to me where I live in a suburb just outside of Milwaukee, WI. I have sleeping issues so I’m usually still up anywhere between 2-4 am or so and idk how I noticed it but I suddenly heard some strange noise in the distance going off and I couldn’t figure out what it was, especially being that it was early in the morning. But then as I listened closer I was like oh wait a minute I think that’s the tornado siren. So I woke my dad up to ask him if he heard them going off too and to see if we could figure out what the heck was going on because since it was December I knew there was like a 99% chance it wasn’t weather related (or at least tornado-wise) so of course my constant anxiety-ridden mind’s first thought is the worst case scenario and was like oh god it’s a nuclear bomb that’s it we’re dead lol but ya we listened to the police radio and it turned out it was just some malfunction or something with the siren but they couldn’t figure out or get them to turn off for at least like 30 minutes or so. Needless to say the people who lived right across from or near the park where the siren was located at were super pissed for getting woken up in the middle of the night and having to hear that obnoxiously loud noise for awhile 😆
Siren head be getting people scared that night. EDIT: If you're under a rock, Siren head is a hostile and fictional creature created by Trevor Henderson, he can mimic raidio broadcasts, alarms / sirens, a recent victims screams when encountering the siren head, etc. He will mimic these to lure and kill its prey or to warn the people in its environment of its presence.
This is the problem with Whelen sirens: they're prone to failing and malfunctioning. In contrast, Thunderbolt 1,000 series sirens are the opposite. They use durable mechanical choppers and blowers instead of an electronic audio file. While they do fall for computer errors, the sirens themselves have only one or two chips that receive signals from the computer. Whelen sirens on the other hand have a full computer on a circuit for handling everything.
Nice sales pitch from a Federal dealer. In reality, I suspect them integrating siren controls with their CAD software is the culprit. These problems don't happen when they stay on the standalone controller
Tornado sirens went off in my state at 12 PM last night. I had to wake up my family.. There was no real tornado but it was likely. We did have a warning too
@@OwenTheMeowstic bloody hell probably the best comment on here, absolutely strenuous to see others making siren head memes AND HAVING IT BECOME OVERRATED IN LESS THAN AN HOUR... honestly refreshing to see something new..
That's just a classic, generic "Air Raid" siren. They've sounded like that ever since the world wars, since most sirens now still use the same tech. More and more modern sirens are using digital tones now though.
Yeah.. Tornado Sirens at 3AM went off because there was a Tornado Warning and I was legit freaking out and I saw lightning flashing and thunder roaring but luckily, it didn't actually went for my location, it just went to another place that was close. I plugged my ears to block off the siren. This also happened years ago when I was at my friends house, it was daytime like 3-4 PM and I checked the weather and it said Tornado Warning, so the sirens went off and me and my friend was freaking out and we went to the basement and still freaked out.. Then recently it was 6 PM and I got a Tornado Warning on my phone and the sirens went off again! However, were outside getting food and by the time we got back, the sirens were blaring and the rain was pouring down so hard, we got really wet, so we stayed in the safest place in a Apt building. The Basement of my Apt.. 3 times Tornado warnings been issued. Dang..
You should watch the horror short where siren head reaches into the guy's house it's the stuff of nightmares, lemme link it for you ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5kwuDEQXvdI.html
I can remember that this reminded me of the Bay Area 4th of July Fireworks Extravaganza that was supposed to be 16-20 minutes of fireworks, but instead ending up with a 30 second or so display where thousands of fireworks blow up all at once. Grand finale on a gigantic scale, but it was the grand finale spectators did not want. This firework mishap was caused by computer error or a computer glitch in timing of the firework shells in the display. Ditto almost for the tornado sirens. Nowadays, computerized set timings are pre-set for the firing of the sirens with strict algorithms--that tell the sirens only to fire during tests or if there is actual severe weather reported. But any glitch, computer virus, or a computer bug that messes up with the algorithms involving siren fire-off timing in the computer systems can cause a mishap, causing the sirens to go off prematurely or by surprise, at a time that is either inappropriate or unwanted.
I had a tornado while it's at my house and in Tennessee there's not really that many tornadoes but this one just broke my window and broke the cabinet door but not completely off and broke the side of one of the cabinets
The only thing that makes me feel better about this game was the fact the game was so good that the players had a chance to get their hands dirty in a game
