Call me Boomer but I won't mess with the OHV engines. Flatheads are much better. Still have a running Reo Rev-O-Lawn and a Clinton powered Buck Rogers looking cast aluminum 20 incher, tail fins in back, teeth in the front. Nice job on yours.

All that and never cleaned the needle and seat under the float -one of the main issues that plug or stick

I ended up doing just that when it did not start the first time. The reason it did not start was the pin that holds the float was not in straight.

What did you spray on the lawnmower to clean it before washing it off with a hose.??

"Gunk" engine cleaner. I tried it on a small spot before dousing it with the engine cleaner.
