Just broke mine again this evening. 2nd time in 2 years. Love the mower, but between the cable breaking every other year and the way the underneath deck holds grass, I'm not likely to buy another.
Hey great video! I replaced mine 2 times in one month. This issue I'm having is the top portion of the cable that twist in did but when engaging lever is bending that black plastic portion. What can I do to fix that?
@Jace Wace hey the cable that I installed where aftermarket. I wonder if it's a quality issue. I just bought an OEM cable, I will install it hopefully next week and report back to you.
I would like to thank you. I paid 1200 for my Toro and thought I had a home lawnmower for life, IF I took care of it. My cable like yours, rusted, due to water getting down the cable path. I think it is a not good Design for a morrow this expensive. So I replaced that cable and now the Other- 4 wheel drive cable is not engaging and also the 100$ Electric deluxe start, does not work for Crap. I am an old man that treats my home morrow like a queen and and very Dissapointed at the Toro Design. I love the timemaster theme, but I have seen 149$ basic morrows that were built better. I thought TORO was supposed to be the Ferrari of Lawnmowers.? Now, I am just waiting for the next thing to break. They also gave me a Spark Plug wrench that does not work and is the wrong one, I had to order the proper one from Online and I feel bad for the Price. Thanks Again, great vid, RH DSD
