I’ve been having this issue as well as the deck won’t stay centered it keeps going off to the left so the wheel on the right side of the deck is contacting the front wheel of the mower. Pisses me off. And all the hangers and bars and everything is all new
Mine fell off today. And i think i blew the gearbox.....coming up the hill on the way back just bam...started rolling backwards. So i think mine might be scrap if thats the case. Its a 2014. Got it with the house i just bought. I checked it over before use. Few loose bolts etc and was getting it serviced next week. And it does this shite. Whats a better brand to buy? That doesn't have these issues. Im very new to the zero turn game.
Funny but not. Thanks for bringing things like this out. I’ve designed tings in the past , not for mowers, and would never do that. Comes down to the bottom dollar and assembly lines. Take care.
Amazing how many times we have to reengineer equipment to either work correctly or work better. I do this sort of stuff all the time, probably because I should have been an engineer. I probably would have used a clevis pin and bowtie cotter instead of the bolt and nut because of the difficulty getting two wrenches in there.
This is happening to me also so I changed the brackets because they were worn but it continues!! Look for the fix on Toro but can’t find it!! Do you know the link or part number for the bracket!!
After making this video, I found out that Toro does make a kit kind of like this to keep the deck from falling off. You should be able to find it online.
