Have had this portable air conditioner since May2020. Purchased brand new and ran it all year no issues, no need to drain water. Last night I woke up to the air conditioner sputtering water from the front air vent and a P1 error code on the digital display. I Looked online and found Instructions to drain the water pan, but nothing more. I went ahead and drain the water from both rear plugs on the unit. I then removed all the filters and cleaned them. This cleared the P1 code and the unit went on to cool the air, a couple hours later it started to do the same thing, but no P1 code displayed. I repeated the steps before and it work for a couple of hours and repeated the water sputtering, but NO code. The P1 code indicates that the water needs to be drain as the floated in the water pan has reached the top level and needs to be drained. I decided to take the cover off the actual unit and give it a deep cleaning. I cleaned out a bunch of hair and junk. After cleaning it all up, I put it all back together and have been running the unit with no issues and no need to drain the water. I believe it just needed a deep interior cleaning of the internal cooling coils etc. Only made this video to help others as I could not find anything on our unit.
