You know it's bad when you have to recover your recovery media first

To boot off recovery disk that won't boot. Reboot hitting F2. Change boot drive in BIOS to CD drive and save and reboot. It will boot off the recovery disk.

The network bridging feature is still a part of Windows 10, it's just very well hidden. Not sure about 11 though. To get to it, you firstly have to right click the network button by the notification center on the taskbar. Then, click "Open Network & Internet Settings". After that, in the window that pops up, click on "Change adapter options". Then, right click on whatever your primary network adapter is in your computer and left click on "Properties" in the little pop-up box. Lastly, in the next window that appears, click on the "Sharing" page at the top of the window, check the box for "Allow other network users to connect through this computer's internet connection and then click on the adapter you want to allow connection passthrough to in the dropdown box. I went off of my own Toshiba Satellite running Windows 10 to create these instructions, so it definitely should still be possible, at least in Windows 10. Hope this helps!

I’m curious as to how you got your laptop to work on a capture card? I try to use an Elgato HD60S for a PC I plan to recover to factory defaults (A Toshiba machine running Windows 8.1), but I’m not getting ideal results. Is there any tips on how to get it working, or am I using the wrong capture device?

do you know from where can i get online a copy of an asus laptop recovery cd? i don't have the CD anymore nor the partition. asus k50c is the laptop i'm talking about.

BTW, did you test to try upgrade Windows 10 or Windows 11 in Toshiba Satellite A665-S6086 ?
