Hi just changed rear led strops on a toshiba 43u6763db, parts was £50 ,vestel chassis LG lcd panel, note that 10mm strip tape is pre installed on the strips I'm a ex brown goods engineer , easy to dismantle used suckers to lift the lcd panel. Great results. Amazing how your eyes get used to the pic until its really bad. Thanks for your videos.
Having just worked on a 32L3753db, it would have been useful to see you dismantling and separating the plastics and how the panel comes out and the diffuser sheets. Luckily this was 32" and the panel was fairly thick and sturdy for it's dimensions, but would have been nice to see your technique. I removed plastic surround with panel facing ceiling and then I just go the panel PCBs loosened and picked up the panel, then removed the panel support plastics, then the diffuser layers. Would also have been nice to see how you safely store the panel safely while working in the LED space of the back box. Just some things to consider if the channel is to be helpful as well as interesting. Other than that, good video :)
Hi, I have a Toshiba LCD 40L1343DG Colour Tv and suddenly i had no Picture and no Sound. The On/Off Lamp in the bottom right is working and so is the console on the back of the TV. I presume a component on the inside is defect but since I have absolutely no clue I was wondering if someone could help me. I tested a flashlight on the panel because i read that you could determine that way if the backlights are defect. I couldn’t see anything therefore i think they aren‘t the problem.
@@allenfleckney5969 they are all lighting up. I was figured on it being 1 or 2 things. The Av unit or ribbon. Would you say that sounds about correct bud? Also thank you for the super fast reply mate appreciated very much! 👍
@@allenfleckney5969 right lovely I'm going to have a bash at fixing it. I used to fix old tube televisions when I was 12 the TV rental shop would throw damaged ones out and I'd source parts from other TV's of the same type and fix them ☺👍 So I feel comfortable with working on these things 😂 Liked your videos mate really helpful!
