Add the vinegar in the onions!! I made the onions without vinegar and with and everyone loved the onions with vinegar. I poured about a tablespoon of vinegar and it was enough for a whole lemon 1/2 and onion! Went back and added vinegar to the onions originally made without. I have made these tostadas all my life and have never done the onions like this. Made them 1000x better! Gracias abuela & family!

I really love this video, especially when abuela was reminising . My family is from Tijuana and its been years since I've been back. I love telling my kids my adventures. We love abuela and have made so many of her recipes. My parents passed away 10 years ago and oh!! how I wish I would have paid more attention to their cooking. If I want to make something I just come on to your channel and feel so at home. My children do not speak spanish (which I also regret) but their learning watching Abuela, They love her. God Bless

LoL. A few months ago. I was with my grandma in the kitchen.. and she was upset that "they" hid the salt from her. And she only had to sea salt to make food with. She was so upset when she was telling me ..lol. enojona mi abuelaita linda❤. My grandma worked in the garlic fields in Salinas CA. Love these stories. Reminds me of my grandma.
