Just a heads up, the IHS charge went up since October 2020. I recently applied for a Tier 4 visa, and the IHS charge was £624 a year. Multiply that by your years of study. Plus the fees of the visa itself.

For anyone who wants the exact fees, I applied in January 2021 and they are: IHS: 624x4 = 2496 pounds (The duration in years are taken from your CAS) + Studen visa processing fees: 489 USD (Standard) + You will need to book an appointment at a UK Visa Application center in your country (ex. VFS Global), so set aside ~ 140 USD for the fees --------------------- If you are an international student with full sponsorship/scholarship, make sure that your sponsor covers your visa fees. How shall one apply at imperial college london for PhD in life sciences. I am student from India. I have geard about Commonwealth scholarship which is fully funded for courses but i dont know if its applicable in ICL or not.

Hi. I am undergraduate petroleum and natural gas engi. student in Turkey right now. I have applied to geo-energy with data anal. and machine learning master program. According to your knowledge, what is the chance of acceptence with 3.12 GPA( from well recognised uni in Turkey) and 7.5 IELTS academic? I will pay my expenses,so I did not apply for any scholarship. I will be glad, if you answer my question

christ .. i was there 20 years ago and it was more like GBP 60k for 3 years including fees etc, tuition was 10-11k a year for engineering

Wow what a big change! But I guess GBP 60k 20 years ago was a lot of money esp given the strength of GBP

it was about 150k sgd. for reference, scholarship allowance for london then was 600-700 gbp/month. i did an internship that paid 600 gbp/week, it really felt like a lot of money

@@hatchegg80 Even 600 gbp/week now will more than cover rent and living expenses. Must have been a lot then!
