@@SewStitchQuiltWithMarty awe thank you! Take it slow and steady. The exercise that seemed to work the best for me was to stand next to a wall with my arms straight down (hand open like in a wave) and put a ball about 6 inches in diameter between the hand of the affected shoulder and the wall and press it into the wall slowly. The press was a 10 count press - 5 going to the wall and 5 releasing from the wall. You never grab the ball though - it was held up with the pressure from your hand on it. That helped build the strength in the upper arm.
Yes, I received a sling from the staff of the surgery center after the surgery. My Dr only required me to wear the sling 3 days and then only in public after 3 days.

Oh wow! You are doing great! I was still taking Oxycodone at 4 weeks post surgery. My P.T. worked wonders on my shoulder. He applied heat first for 15 min. then after P.T. he applied ice. I healed quickly & didn't have to go to my last 2 scheduled visits. I'm very proud of your positive attitude & quick recovery
