The over 2 hour drive and taking a day off work WAS TOTALLY WORTH IT!!!! IT WAS THE COOLEST THING EVER IN MY 24 YEARS OF LIVING! Seriously!!! The 2017 one didnt even come close!
Fr like where I was, it lasted like half a minute and I thought that was good😅, I saw the eclipse this year in the backyard of where they filmed the Christmas story, I WAS IN CLEVELAND!
I live in DFW and yeah I was just right outside my house and that was amazing just the feeling of it and the sounds of the animals going away. It was insane got so quiet no wind
Birds went to roost here & my horses stopped eating & just stood there. Then when it went totally dark they ran for their shelter. The animals were all off.
That's because animals are sadly more intelligent than humans at this point. They know the significance of the eclipse. People cheer when they should be praying and asking God for forgiveness and mercy.
Drove down from suburban Chicago this morning with my dad. We left at 5:30 AM and beat out the traffic. We ended up in a Starbucks parking lot in Lebanon Indiana and sat and waited for 5 hours. One of the coolest (literally) experiences of my life! And the best part was that where we stayed gave us the ability to beat out all the traffic driving home!
Man ya guys are so lucky to beat the traffic. I live in Southern Wisconsin and had plans to go to Indianapolis. Made it to West side of Chicago at 7 and it was bumper to bumper from I 290/294/80 to I 65 south. Sat in traffic 2 hours until I decided to get of I 65 and take the county/state highways. Ended up in Terre Haute. Took me 6 hours to get there and 4 hrs to get back. Was extremely worth it!
Glad that you still got to experience the total eclipse! 10-15 years from now those extra hours in traffic will be just a funny add on to your family to hear about! I hope to see you in Montana 2044!
We left Tinley Park 5 AM. Got to the speedway 9 AM. Perfect time got right into the parking lot got in line and got through the line. Had a great time it was spectacular. The music was spectacular that they were playing to the eclipse the speedway was the best!!
I saw a young girl looking straight into the sun before totality. Bad, very bad. The other thing I noticed was people watching the eclipse through their cell phones. Unbelievable.
I was trying not to watch it through my phone because you try not to look at your phone that’s what my eyes hurting today. I was turning away taking pictures and video and turning my head
*I love the grounded reality of this channel!!!* Retirement took a toll on my finances, but with my involvement in the digital market, $27,000 weekly returns has been life changing. AWESOME GOD❤️
Only God knows how much grateful i am. After so much struggles I now own a new house and my family is happy once again everything is finally falling into place!!
There is nothing more incredible than laying nude on the roof of my house under the dimming twilight of a total solar eclipse! I was going to commit a virgin sacrifice, as well. But, then I remembered what happened during that unfortunate viewing of The Wrong Missy, followed by Judge Judy. Self devirginising disqualifies me for virgin sacrifice! Damn you Judge Judy and Lauren Lapkus as Wrong Missy! You ruined my life!
This is why you MUST get into the path of totality! A partial eclipse is cool, but a total solar eclipse is the most beautiful and spectacular thing I've ever seen in my life. Words cannot describe it
I was just couple miles south of IMS watching with friends. I couldn’t help but cry a bit; I couldn’t help it. . Most amazing thing I’ve EVER seen. Even now watching this it’s emotional. Thank you glorious creator, you are never to be outdone.
@@SimpawsYarnTools-km1ke Im not religous and I almost cried during totality. The science and probabilities around a total solar eclipse is mind shattering. The experience is awe inspiring and will remind you the orbital mechanics that go on above your head every day without a thought. See it in person before you die, if you want to find out why. There are no words or cameras that get anywhere close to explaining it.
There is nothing more pleasurable than laying naked in the dimming twilight of a total solar eclipse, and I lived it! Nothing could ever beat the experience of today, the 8th of April, 2024! As I layed nude under the eclipse, on my roof, I thought to myself, this is it, the ultimate life's experience. My life is now complete. I am now ready to go.
My parents and sister drove down to Indy from SE WI (I was going to go but developed a blood clot in my leg just Friday!). They said it was 'spectacular'! So glad they got to experience it.
Yep, it took us 14 hrs to get back home from north GA. to Atlanta in 2017 what is normally an hour and a half drive. Traffic was at a standstill the entire time.. It was totally worth even that!!
one of the best places to watch a solar eclipse which is the city of Indianapolis of course I can still remember the eclipse logo in a Pacers home game many years ago
I made it down to Whitestown, just shy of Indy, at 2:57 that day, so I was probably 10-15 minutes away from this scene right here. I saw the 2017 eclipse in De Soto, Missouri, and for this one, the sky was even darker. An incredible thing to experience it twice.
Amen and AMEN! Glory to Jesus. For those asking how this relates to Him, through Him (The Lord Jesus Christ) was all things made and without Him, nothing was made that was made. You do not see electricity but you sure do see its effect. Also, someone who has never seen Mount Everest before still denies its existence today even though we kept telling him it existed. But does it change the fact that there is Mount Everest?--- the tallest mountain on earth...? Jesus is King, the Lord of heaven and the earth whether you believe He exists or not. But that unbelief will not be forever anyway. So, try and find Him when you still can.
I’m in Indy but several of my neighbors got together for the eclipse. We were all amazed at how dark it got. My neighbors have a couple chickens and the rooster went crazy calling like it was morning
I too in Indy. What was amazing is how you see things are dim but even with a tiny, tiny sliver of sun.. it’s still “ light”. But then that sliver disappears and in an instant; DARK. It looked like a sunrise and a sunset both left and right where the totality was out of reach. Was most spectacular thing I’ve witnessed.
Alot folks claimed JESUS was coming back but JESUS said no man knows that time nor the hour, although JESUS didn't come today He still could come any second.JESUS is the way the truth and the life, besides him there is no other, he was a propitiation for OUR sins all of it , even the sex offenders. This life of sin may feel right and good but it’s a broad way that eventually leads to eternal damnation and narrow is the way to heaven. Choose life, choose JESUS, by turning away from your sinful lifestyle and following JESUS. This is a warning, tomorrow isn’t promised.Today is the day of salvation. Repent and Believe in the gospel
@@Xane_DragonYou probably worship the beast, which is nothing but an Occult in itself. You'll learn one day, if you pick up the Bible and call on the Lord's mighty name
Loved the solidarity. Millions of ppl were all in awe in that moment in time. Peace, love, and unity. We are all 1 race, the human race, this event was full proof of that❤
I watched it directly with no glasses. I always have since a child. Didn't bother my eyes!!! 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️ anyone else watch without glasses? Who are my felliw Rebels???
