Last time I was this early the tomb kings were still mortal

Since the research penalty doesn't apply until after you've completed a dynasty, you can just research a dynasty until there's only one turn left and move on to the next one. Only finish researching a dynasty when you really need that army. That way, you can get most of the research done when you still have the highest research rate.

You really need to tone down the SEGA logo sound effect. It's pretty loud compared to the rest of the video.

So excited for Tomb Kings! Picked up TWII the moment they were announced.

I'm really looking forward to this, looks great. I'll also be interested to see if someone manages to mod this recruitment style onto the vampires, sorta makes sense for them too, though without the lord limit its presumably crazy broken. For me though the most wanted thing is new start locations in the old world for the new world races. That feels like the number 1 thing the game lacks right now, though presumably folk who only own game 2 would not agree with me (but how many such folk are there really?).

I think that the crafting menu should be adapted to all races.

Really love the idea of this new recruitment method. Finally got a good way to personalise my unit names, name them after the territory that their building is in. Eg, Khemrian legions

The game mechanics for the tomb kings look really cool. Unfortunately, they seem to be much more cooler than the other races. There's a plan to do some expansions of the gameplay mechanics for the other races?

Do you guys have any plans to update the old factions?

and what about confederations? when i confed. as eg. setra with khalida, will i also get the army slot of khalida? or will i still have the same army nmbr like befor? and just get khalida as character

@totalwar: Question, Setra already has a Sphinx and a tomb guard unit in his army, do there starting untis also count towards the maximum units you can recruit? If you still have the sphinx and you build the building required for it, does that mean you will have to construct a second building?

CA. Do you intend to make the minor settlement map for old race in campaign in the furute?

Do the books you take remain were they are (you take the white tower and have to hold it to keep the book) or are the tombs relocated to your capital?

i do love that you can make equipment but its weird that this is a thing for tomb kings and not for dwarfs or elfs :p hope it will be possible someone can make a mod that adds it for other factions

What happens to some of the books of Nagash if a wandering army holding one of them is defeated by another faction general? Is it held by that general? Do you get told that Ra'tok of the lizardmen, for example, has one of them?

I hope Nagash makes an appearance at the end of the TK campaign.

Man old factions need help. Also Chaos invasion needs more work. Maybe it wouldn't hurt to fix this things before more dlc?

damn, i have already known that necron are based on tomb kings, but i dont really know how similiar they are until TW : WH2. Old civilization wants to reclaim old glory, obsession on immortality, advanced tech, reviving army, etc etc

I love this Stellaris rework!

This might be the best faction DLC CA has made to date. I just hope performance won't suffer too much, seeing that the performance bugs currently in the game are still not addressed

The tomb kings will be available to fight in the campaign if you don’t have the dlc right, or are they not there unless you buy the dlc

Why can't you add features like this for the Empire campaign and most of the other old world races? Gutted how empty and bland you keep their mechanics compared to the new races. Assign a general to an office to give them a buff. That's all the Empire mechanic is. While the Tomb Kings have enough unique mechanics to fill a 7 minute video...

PLEEEAAASEEEE overhaul the Old World factions, they REALLY need it! They unfortunately feel comparatively bland in comparison to the Warhammer 2 factions.

this unit system is Seriously what Every race should have had from the Start!. SOOO much BETTER, please consider changing all races to follow this kind of unit restrictions, as it is SO much needed to created far more enjoyable gameplay, and give more reasons to have lots of weaker, and more diverse, armies instead of just 1-3 armies of nothing but t2-t3 units ^^ alternatively allowing upgrades of weaker units to stronger once when they reach a certain ranking would also be great incentive and give a lot more power to the starting rank of unit. but no matter which route, a unit restriction on elite/rares would give major improvements, as well as a way to eliminated the upkeep (which fk's the eco of the game in general)
