The trailers/letsplays are fire, and the game is slowly and steadily improving. I am happy that this game didn't go the way many games go after a poor launch and this game is finally developing towards the gem that it can become.

The comment about "Ogre stomachs are the best places to get ingredients for plagues" actually makes a lot of sense, and thematically would make Festus fun to pit against the Ogres. Cause for a race that eats pretty much anything/everything that can be consumed, their stomachs alone are probably a bubbling cesspool of things that otherwise shouldn't ever be mixed together.

That part with Festus running after that Orc Boy made me think something like this: Festus: Time for your daily dose! Orc Boy: GORK, MORK SAVE ME!

Lmao, I live Warhammer Fantasy. There are whole characters where the description is basically just “A Nasty little guy, a slug-like bastard with a big fat chin” And then they write a book’s worth of lore for them lol

Those transition shots and sweeping shots are incredible, like goddamn. Also as a Nurgle stan, I approve of everything seen in this video, Glad not every unit looks like a bloated corpse, Those gifts are only deserving of Nurgle's finest.

The editing here is absolutely top notch. Creative and funny while still being super epic for the total war franchise. Keep it up CA!

Seriously, the dedication CA has to go the extra step and making sure these videos are superbly edited with great commentary is amazing. I really appreciate them for that.

Plague Knights look so cool as well. The HYPE! Great Job once again CA. Never dissapointed me with WH3 Rift campaign as well at least for me personally. The camera work and edit on this one is god like too. The subjugate feature is perfect. The list keeps growing!

Broekwater is dutch for trouserwater (which is still weird). Its prenounced brookwater with the "oo" being like the sound a owl makes.

These are so good…. Can’t wait for Valkia! She’s going to be sooo cool which is great seeing as she’s probably my favourite character, I don’t usually get on the hype train but here I am driving the thing!

Wonderful job on these let’s play videos. I love the comedic elements; especially the montage and its music. I also like the incorporation of the announcement trailer and tying the two together into a single narrative.

The upgrade system is a rally good idea, I always hated when you can just recruit elite units in a single turn . Similar mechanics for every faction or only for chaos ?

Anyone else noticed how in the trailer section they made Festus's voice deeper to sound more "demonic" or something like that? Edit: never mind, they made the entire thing sound deeper with more thematic/serious music.

I love this style of video, a great intro to the new lord and faction abilities, and incredibly entertaining!

Festus looks a bit... plasticy neon Green. As if they stoppd the texturing before they got to the skin details. Even compared to the tabletop miniature. He had more skin colourisation differences there and looked less smooth... dunno... on Reddit somebody said that he reminds him of a Pixar movie character. Festus Lightyear! To infinite plagues and beyond!

These past 2 let’s plays have been extremely well put together, seriously some of the best edited and narrated ones that CA has ever done. Kudos to the team, very excited to play this dlc and IE when they release next month

Hoping that the nurgle marauader and chaos warriror units and lords will look like followers of nurgle. Bloated, puss filled and with horns.

This dlc will be so great! I love the animation when Festus grap the imperial soldier, like his tabletop model. Just one thing I don't like, why does Festus and Azazel spread normal chaos corruption? They should spread the corruption of their patron god

i kinda dont like seeing the nurgle marauders just being recolored. Hope its just a place holder for when they get new models like Slaneeshi and Khorne marauders did. Have also noticed that the Forsaken also just looked recolored between all the 4 gods

The transitions and the whole let's play is next level

Sadly you see the big problem of siege battles here. They still get winning on the walls/ gates. You never have a reason to go deep in the cities/ castles. Because the ai don't place their bows on the higher areas inside the cities or the catapults. They still fight directly on the door. You will never get this minas tirith feel, because the ai don't know how to use the big open city :/

Nobody gonna mention how good that Brittanian siege map looks though?

looks great the only problem is that the chaos lords and heroes don't really look very nurgly

This looks SO DAMN GOOD! I am honestly at awe right now. This game is going to be freaking AWESOME! I get all tingly in my whole freaking body. Feel like a child on Christmas and i´m 35 years old! xD I LOVE THIS! You guys at CA, the people that make all this, YOU ARE AWESOME! Keep it up and stay awesome!

To be honest, i liked the voice Festus had in the released trailer compared to now at the end of this video. He stood out more when he had less of the demonic filter and it allowed the insane doctor characteristic to become pronounced, the voice actor did really great on that. Less is more here

Same plague feature like with the other lord, could have put in more effort to make a potion system instead. they just want to add meaningless content. i really liked this lord was hoping for more....

I’m very excited and all the gameplay stuff looks great, but I have some issues with design. I understand the lack of gore/graphic visual content is due to the fact that CA want to keep the T rating, but festus/nurgle are lacking in the gore/gross department. I think they did an amazing job with skragg and the ogres, but festus is lacking. He shouldn’t be so bright green, he should have more boils, and he NEEDS gore/limbs hanging from him and in his cauldron. He’s not scary or gross and just looks like a fat jelly bean. I also had hoped he has his machete as a melee weapon rather than bright green potions. At least make the potions look less cartoony and more realistic. That’s my biggest problem is that he looks very cartoony and childish. Not the disgusting vial doctor he looks like in art, in lore, and in model. Hopefully they change it or the blood dlc will add graphical changes to the models. I also think azazels wings should have been bright white, his skin paler/whiter, and he had his black hair. Azazel looks more generic than he should. They both work and look good, but they really should just add these little tweaks to at least festus. Festus looks way too cartoony and he looks too demonic and not as mortal as he should. Please CA add graphic/gore elements to festus like you did for skragg
