Malekith was unfortunately corrupted before he was even born. Combine that with the fact that Morathi was probably a chaos worshipper even before his birth and how chaos also probably corrupted her and thats gonna make for a fucked up child.

Malekith was never corrupted. He was ambitous and prideful just as any other elven prince and probably more rightfully so then all of them. He grew desperate at every affront that Bel Shanaar trow at him, and to discontempt, disperation added the moment that in searching for a sign of the gods of his power he found the circle. He acutally always was agaist spiritualism and enslavement of mortals to the gods he was so strongly willed that he resisted the widowmaker at the foot of his altar. The circlet made him understood the true manace that where the ruinous powers and how the elves would never been prepared under Bel Shanaar. The time for inaction was over he was to take power not only to preserve his father legacy and stop the cults that have thrived in hedonism with society decadence. Asurian judgment changed everything. The God that made his farher king rejected him upon his sacred flames, all the benevolence that and good will in him die that day and soon all of Ulthuan will burn in a mad, tragic and terrible act of revenge.

It's frustrating that creators seem to put a lot more effort onto the bad guys. They will work and work in order to make the Big Boss an interesting guy with complex motives. The good guys? Meh, they're super powered...and good. Done.

Trey Dixon Agreed, the only Good guy with a lot more effort is Sigmar and to a certain extent Tyrion and Teclis.

The Dawi Zhar have existed since the original collapse of the polar gates when the Old Ones were either driven away or destroyed. This event created them and predates Malekiths story.

@@jumbothick2984 Hm, the chaos dwarfs only turned to hashut after malekith met with king snorri. The event at 5:35 is before that happened. Obviously they could not have created black orcs if they didn't have hashut's magic. But I guess you are right on the fact that they existed before that, that was my fault. Still black orcs couldn't exist during this time.
