We were awful this season but brings back good memories for me as I was 15 years old and more into spurs than ever at this point.

Once Sheringham got injured, we went downhill very quickly..in fact, after a run of 7 straight defeats, it took a Ronny Rosenthal equaliser against Villa to stop the rot.

Sheringham was our main man, very good striker and I agree once he got injured we went downhill

Sheringham's knee injury destroyed the season and he was out for over 5 months. The really bad thing was that there was a piece of bone in his cartilage that was preventing him from recovering but the so-called 'specialists' didn't spot it. He was back again very quickly once the bone fragment was removed.

We spent 2M on Gordon Durie. In 1991. A lot of money then and he after a decent start faded. I seem to remember he went off on one at ossie during this season and got banished. Money well spent. Honestly though throughout the years ive supported Tottenham we've wasted millions and millions on crap.

My first ever game was that QPR defeat. I'd forgotten about that thank you banner, but it's come flooding back now. Think i was just happy to see Sheringham score!

35:59 This was the game where John Fashanu literally smashed Gary Mabbutt's face in. Just over two weeks later, Wimbledon won away to Aston Villa and after the game, the Dons manager, Joe Kinnear said that he liked going to the big clubs and putting their *FACES* out of joint. The correct expression is 'putting their noses out of joint'. I've always thought that Kinnear chose those words deliberately and was making a direct reference to the Mabbutt injury which is a disgusting thing to do, especially when Kinnear was a former Tottenham player.

Terribly terrible season, so lucky to not get relegated. Teddy's injury didn't help. Should have been much better with the legends Ossie and Stevie P in charge but was shocking. Anderton was by far the greatest crosser of a ball we've ever had, better than Beckham in my opinion.

I agree it wasn’t a good season at all, with Sheringham our best player being out injured never helped us. We didn’t have a great side and struggled a lot. Anderton was a very good player but was injured alot and a great crosser of the ball. They could of easily given the position to Steve Perryman and Ossie to help out but never happened.

Sheringham was incredible in those first few games, his injury Vs Man Utd destroyed our season. I remember praying week after week that he’d be back…

We need, we want lol 😂. I do have the 1992/93 season but RU-vid keep blocking it due to a lot of copyrights with some of the goals scored in that season. I’ll try again and see what goals they keep blocking.

And three of those were in the first couple of months! 1 home win from October onwards. Very fortunate that Sheringham came back at Easter or we would have gone down for sure
