This was a proper north London Derby, tackles flying in you can genuinely sense the hatred the two sets of players had for each other during that game, nothing like you see today, sad really. Also just the contrast in emotions between the spurs and the arsenal fans at the end there, that’s why for me it’s just such a great rivalry between the two clubs and has been for decades.
Just how shit a summariser was Trevor Brooking. "Well if Arsenal score a goal now they will be one nil up and Spurs will have to score one to make it level".
EPL at the start of the 90s was not really good. There was not alot of foreign players and hardly anyone that could be labeled as a superstar. Even the french league was better. It improved alot by the mid-late 90s.
That’s absolute rubbish. Today’s players are nowhere near tough enough to play back then. Bunch of pussies who fall over like they’ve been shot. Adams, Wrighty, Seaman and even the likes of Dixon and Bould were superb players
Tony Adams is finally coming of age??- As if he never was Captain of two title winning sides! And the Arsenal's I young midfield comment proves that Alan Hanson's "can't win anything with kids" comment years later wasn't just a one off!!
