I already have (quite literally) the greatest toucan name ever picked out for the rescue. But I'm curious, what do you guys think? I'll give you a hint for the name I have- It's related to him coming from the west coast 😉
I'm glad you're adopting another toucan. No one will take the place of Ripley, but it'll, help you with the healing process and in turn give another deserving soul a good home. Can't wait to see what his name is. I think Diego would be a good name!!! Who agrees?
Loved how Ripley looked at you when you put your hands under the water faucet....."Excuse ME HUMAN! I was drinking from that you know!!! ugh now it's contaminated!!!" lol Miss ya lots Ripley from me and Abby.
Looking forward to seeing your new family...I'm excited for you. Thanks for sharing Ripley with us again. Best wishes on your trip to and from San Diego...💗💙💟awesome Ripley
I’m very excited for you Brock, and you’re doing a good deed by taking in that rescue toucan, as well as a new baby. Ripley is looking down on you with joy and maybe blessed you with these two cans. She wants you to be happy.
If you need money for all sorts of enclosures and those sorts of things for your new birds, you should auction off their names, so people bid on naming the birds! I think That could be a fun idea. Just, uh may want to put some restrictions on it... Don't really want a bird named Beaky Mcbeak Face
Awww, Ripley. Maybe you NEED two toucans! It's awesome that you are going to give an older toucan a home. I think Ripley would be OK with that, you helping a member of her tribe to be happy.
I have been catching up with all the previous Ripley vids. I still cant believe she is gone, she is/was one of those birds that make us all sit up and take notice. My all time favourite video is one that you did for Halloween 2018 and you dumped all her favourite fruits into a bowl of water so she could bob for fruit. The look you got from her when you did that was priceless. Looking forward to "meeting" the new Toucans. I think Ripley would be impressed too.
I love how you can instantly tell his personality is different than Ripley’s. People think animals are all the same, and they are every bit as unique from entity to entity as people.
Again a thousand apologies for your loss. I know how it must have felt. My dog got put down. To me it seems that your dealing with it well. All the power man.
She likes it best when I put stuff up there🤣🤣🤣🤣 Animals are just so happy and funny. I love it when there's something random like that they just love so much!!! Oh I'm opening this upper cabinet door!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I love this video.
Oh wow going from one to 2! Im glad your opening your home up and making room for the older bird in need. A lot of times these guys get over looked because of there age and its understandable, it takes a special person to commit to a pet that does not have as much time to be around as a baby would. But they need love too. Cant wait for you to show him to us and welcome him to the channel! Safe travels!
Toucans are sp sweet and mischievous... Get one if you need a little trouble in your all too quiet life c; (I honestly have no idea what I'm talking about but ripley was always so cuuute and every now and then was just a troublemaker)
Oh! That is wonderful news! You are a fabulous Toucan owner. You have the right kind of personality for keeping birds. They are a lot work and need a lot of attention and quality time with you. You really do a great job at giving a unique bird the care it needs. Since you have so many subscriber. I want to put up a warning for all pet owners. This does not indicate that I think that Ripley passed from this! I am just using this forum to educate people to what can kill birds instantly, without warning. If you have a Self-Cleaning Oven where you put it on a high temperature cycle to clean it; BE WARNED: Your bird will die! I had a friend who breed birds and she had a big warning sign in her shop about this risk. She said over the years, she was losing too many of her babies that she sold to people and they did not know about this risk. I had a friend that lost two birds from not knowing about this problem and the effect on birds. Here's the thing, if it will kill a bird, let me tell you, you don't want to be breathing the fumes either! I had one of those type ovens. We would only run the clean when we could open many windows and run two fans near the kitchen. One exhausted air out of a window and one brought fresh air in (we only ran this in spring and fall when windows could be open without heat or air conditioning). We put our birds in a separate bedroom. Taped plastic over all the vents and closed the door. Then we opened the windows in that bedroom so their was fresh air circulating at all times. Bird owners, you really need to heed this warning. I don't want another bird to so senselessly lose its life. Again, I am not saying this is what happened to Ripley. I am just using this wonderful RU-vid channel to warn people so it does not take a bird's life so senselessly.
Another note for safety with birds. If you cook with non-stick pans, when they are heated to high temperatures, these pans out-gas nasty chemicals. Side note: we really shouldn't use them. Anyway, if a bird is in the kitchen, these fumes can kill them as well. Especially if they are exposed to the chemicals over time. Please think about your birds, any chemicals can do them in, much quicker than we see damage to our lungs. Birds have very sensitive lungs. Remember, canaries were put in the coal mines to alert the miners of deadly fumes.
