Mrs. Asego, one of the best teachers that I had an opportunity to interact with during my years in Olympic primary.

What a motivational story! Mrs Asego never gave up on her daughter and neither did her daughter Cathy give up on herself! It was also great watching the 3 generations of women; a mother, her daughter and her granddaughter who's now an adult and a lawyer ❤ Can I also add that it was glad to know that the Asegos have Teso blood in them! I come from Teso and was happy to hear the name Atyang❤ Unlike other plain Nilotes (Maasai, Samburu and the Turkana), Tesos are quite few in Kenya so we easily recognize each other. The majority of the Tesos are across the border, in Uganda.

Mrs. Asego is 1 in a million. She was the mother of all at ayany estate. Whether you lived in A or Z we all knew her. She gave us all tough gentle love. ❤

I totally can relate to their story. My mum was my head teacher n she would beat me for being late n send me for parent. I got pregnant n have beautiful daughter just after campus. That go getter in cathy is so me working in a different while my daughter is schooling in one of the best schools in Kenya n taking care of my aged mum but still a tough lady😂😂. Kumbe tuko wengi
