Subterranean Animism is a very strange game in the sense that while it's moderate in difficulty (similar to MoF in my opinion), it's got this curse to it that just makes anyone who tries to LNN it go through various 1MNBs and stage 6 failures. My first ever 1MNB to this game was back in July and it was to Orin's first nonspell in stage 5! Then a few months later, I got a 1MNB to Blazing Wheel. Ridiculous! The game itself doesn't even start until Satori yet it's so easy to just randomly die on somewhere and getting everything right is a big pain.
It doesn't help that UNR and Peta Flare have no qualms in destroying any runs that make it that far. Stage 6 is most definitely not a free stage and calling SA just "DBDB" and "Cat Walk" is a very naive thing to do lol.

Yesterday I really was burnt out and hadn't really grinded Touhou that much at all in a month (outside of the touhou 16 demo stuff). And I really wanted to get back into it, so last night I decided that today I'd do actual SA attempts again. And just like MoF, I got the LNN on a whim while streaming on RU-vid. Also, Yats also got SA LNN within a few hours after me doing it. So this is technically a double LNN for the west.
What's next? Well, I need to finish up IN. I have IN No Miss No Bomb but it failed Reisen's last spell annoyingly enough, so it's not REALLY perfect. I also want to do UFO afterwards. So IN and UFO are the survival goals. As for scoring? Well, I gotta get that 2bil DDC and 3bil PCB. Idk when I'll work on them because it's very rare for me to get the urge to score nowadays. But I won't let go of those goals!
It's really surreal. There was a time when I was not even sure I'd ever get PCB LNNN. And now I have five games... I might really do the old 2013 dream of mine for getting "All LNN/LNNNs"...
What a strange but hope-filled feeling...
