As you get further away from New York, California, and Illinois, it gets cheaper the further into the country because there is not much as much excitement and opportunities there. But it's peaceful, but some small towns don't like foreigners. Don't worry that is not all of us! I live outside of Pittsburgh, PA and I think it is perfect. $850 for a two bedroom, plus utilities, inexpensive. One train ride takes you all the way across the state, or you can drive to New York in 6 hours. Very boring states like Utah, Idaho, are cheap, but slower paced and might not be good for young people and their social life.

If it is a good neighborhood, they aren't needed as much. Depends on the crime rates. Some places are considered very "ghetto" and bars are a must. In this neighborhood there might be home security on the windows that sets off an alarm. But a lot of people don't have that either. Some places are so safe they don't lock their doors. Depends on a lot of things. xo

@@hiba_qurux6104 Most home owners in America in small towns are gun owners and look out for each other. The crime is very low outside of cities. Many areas in the country are so safe people don't even lock their doors because everyone knows everyone.

Usually there is a bus somewhere, but you might have to walk far for it. You could take an uber to the bus stop or the train station to commute. You could also bike to a bus stop. But yes, a lot these neighborhoods it's annoying for transportation, but they are also safer because that means your neighbors all afford cars. But that doesn't mean if you don't have a car you are poor. Lots of people take busses, but the best thing to do is find a place to live on the bus line. xo

Hey someone please help,, I applied for a green card last year,, but when submitting the entry my computer crashed,, I tried applying again when I restored back my internet but a pop up came that if I submit a double entry I will be disqualified,, now my question comes in,, does that mean my first entry went through? Sometimes you can get a place furnished but it is more expensive. But is easier to move in, and you have to keep everything perfect or you might have to pay for it later. I think this unit he is showing is a "model" unit they use to show potential customers what it could look like if you decorate it. Sometimes when people buy houses they offer more money if they like some of the furnishings already inside, and the homeowner will gladly sell it because it's something they don't have to move :). When my dad sold our house the person bought his piano and all of his plants LOL

Ohio is a great state! Very slow paced and inexpensive. Not too far from the big east coast cities. Lots of amusement parks so thousands of jobs during the warm months. I live one state over in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a great part of the country to live in. xo

Thanks EBM, at what age should a child have their own bedroom in the US? You know that most African children share the same room, even boys and girls.

If you have two girls or two boys they can share a room til about high school, and even then we don't all just get to have that, a lot of my friends shared rooms til they were 18. If it's a boy/ girl situation, it's doable, but it might get really tough in the teen years. No one will judge two kids in one bedroom, it is normal.

Probably should've been a 2-bedroom unit, but they could get more money for 3 bedrooms, so one room is very small and they call it a "room for the kids." But if there are no kids, the unluckies of the adults gets the small room, or you get to pay less rent if you're willing to take the small room. xo
