He only ever laughs that way, so I think it's genuine. The only times his laugh is kind of different is when he finds something really really funny, and even then it basically sounds the same except with a higher pitch.

In this case, the bonuses are him doing an interview next to his CPAP machine (which we all know he has named, like a Southern man names their 1977 pickup truck), and the manner with which he speaks truth to power. In this case, speaking truth to power involves disclosing violent defecation mid-shower, necessitating a follow up shower after the damage has been done. 10/10
