After Robby Gordon sold his Newell away (same one purchased by your buddy Stapleton42) The next purchase that Robby had in mind was a trailer like this one, it is a 53'(towed w/ a Class 8 tractor) and I remember him taking it to Daytona for the 500 and they wouldn't let him park it in the drivers lot because of the size (Nascar/ISC had never had a personal drivers "motorcoach" that large before) and they claimed it was too big. This would have been around the time frame of 2003 when he was driving for RCR. I believe he still has it, if I recall it was solid blue, cant recall the manufacturer , I don't recall if the one for Robby was a Spacecraft......so the mantra "Go big or go home" applied to this as it certainly was bigger than any Newell or Prevost in the drivers/owners lot.....good video Andrew
Thanks for taking time to talk with my son and I at the show. We caught you as you finished this video and your information was helpful. Happy travels! ~Max
Andrew these are mainly sold to carnival and concessionaires owners who travel and run their business from their mobile house. They are a great company and great product.
Lots of people in the amusement industry ( carnival) business have these , many years ago I worked for someone who owned one of these and I was lucky to be able to spend a summer in one of these monsters was an amazing experience
Andrew - wow! We finally get to see some of the best in the industry! I contacted them a 2-3 years ago and the President responded that these don't go up for sale used. Within a week, he contacted me with a used one! I wasn't in a position to purchase, but now I'm in love with these! 55 feet is the maximum and now to find a rig to pull 'er! LOL
I really like spacecrafts their don’t seem to be a whole lot of info about them out there they seem to be quite rare to come across glad you made a video on one thanks 👍🏻
This could be a beautiful second home that could be moved whenever you wanted to try a new area. There are some trucking companies that transport these for people that need it. They will do long haul transplants. They always have a load to pick up somewhere nearby so it isn’t a wasted trip back to the main office. This has become more common in the last couple of years. The only thing I wish you would have done was take a little more time showing inside closets and drawers Eric. I didn’t see a laundry room but am assuming there has to be one or it could be added. A more thorough video would have been better to show where the 400K is used. I just learned that you are about 200 miles from me so I will be in contact to see if or what you might have available for purchase. Thank you for at least having one to show and I learned where you are. See you soon!
It's definitely one of a kind. Lots of custom features. But wouldn't you think they'd have better TV placement and something other than those cheap chairs in the office area??
Hey Andrew how you doing you doing pretty good on your videos on this episode that you're just doing the spacecraft trailer I just want to let you know that the inside the unit on if you just noticed it there were two units it was called a Mitsubishi Ductless unit The unit is on the other side of that trailer The units on that trailer do really good job of heating and air conditioning You'll be surprised how good you can keep heat and air conditioning in that Pacifica trailer they built
I can’t believe I’ve seen one of these (online) before Andrew! There’s a red and black one that Spacecraft uploaded a few years ago that’s also pretty amazing (not as nice as this one imo). But really beefy compared to your typical fifth wheel.
Get it hauled in to a movie set or video shoot , not a move around deal unless you want to add a 500, 000 tractor to it , which hey that puts it at 1 million , it’s nicer than the 1million buses in my opinion , thanks for showing it to us Andrew
Now I would trade my Seismic 4113 for that!!!😎 Only downside I see is I have enough trouble finding RV Resorts that fit my 45.5' unit, can't imagine the trouble you'd have finding a spot for that!!!...oh yeah, and the price tag....and I'd have to upgrade my F-450!!!😄 A man can dream... Beautiful!
That is a cool concept, not a fan of the stark white interior though.. maybe it looks better in person.. I love going to the Tampa RV show but I am not going to make it this year.
I know you can customize these anyway you want but this one doesn't have enough kitchen counter space, and you have to turn your head just ri sit and watch t.v. I would have to change a lot to get one I'd like. Oh and win the lottery. Really quick are they're very many campgrounds that you can take something that big
Was going to make a joke how the intercom is so the carnival owners don't have to speak face-to-face with the carnies. Then I read in the comments about many carnival owners have these. 😝 (Before you call me a snob, I almost ran away with the carnival.) They're beautiful, but meant to be parked longer than many RVs. The setup/breakdown must take an hour or more. Once you're inside you forget you're in a trailer. I saw a SpaceCraft tour where they parked their SmartCar in the rear office for travel. Very cool.
I really like this, but one of the frustrating things about it is that the television is placed in a way that people sitting on the sofa or on either of those chairs all have to turn their heads sideways to watch television. Maybe the screen pulls out from the wall and can be positioned toward one side of seating or the other? If not, that factor alone would make me not want this.
I don't think that KOA would let you pull into there camping sites with this fifthwheel. They might have a little bit of a problem with your size. Hahaha. Actually a lot of camp grounds would probably turn you away with a fifthwheel this big. It's nice but a bit on the big and heavy side.
Was genuinely excited until I seen the wood beams in the basement at 0.30 secs into the video. Wood in an RVs frame gives me great pause and cause for concern in the event it needs to be replaced due to rot
I know spacecraft also has a 57' trailer. My question is, where can they legally tow this trailer, I thought the maximum legal limit for trailer was 53'? Or are travel trailers exempt?
What would I need to pull something like that? Also, you couldn't really take it camping unless uts 30 feet off the main highway. That thing looks completely unsafe off road.
Would have been better if they had a lot more counter space in the kitchen where they belong. That was the smallest counter space I have ever seen in a RV.
"Use bright colors, it'll make it look bigger" ... it's 55', does it need to look bigger? I'd love to see this in a more saddle leather and black/stainless color scheme. It's clearly a quality build, but just not "my thing". Will your park in Montana allow this length? (Most won't, but that's clearly not a "normal" RV park)
It was All Customed ordered, Hand Picked by the owner., Price tags add up when you want custom Fitted, and Cust imported Fixtures and Custom Built Cabinets Tailered made.
LOL, sad... but true. I'm just glad you said something... I thought maybe it was just me! I mean, sure it's obviously quality built, but it looks like the interior design was done by Stevie Wonder.
