I love seeing the camp evolve over the years. If we look back at like 2015, it's amazing to see what has become of it. The whole back yard used to be kinda empty (not that it's a bad thing) with mainly the Sulcatas roaming around. Now we have Slinkys new enclosure, Freds Croc Corner, Kaiman Creek, tons of new ponds, such an amazing journy. If I get the chance I'd love to see where it will be in 10 years. I also respect you a lot for keeping your species at a size that's both manageable for you and ensures that the animals get the best possible care. Nobody likes selling animals, but often less is more, quality > quantity. Many people would just keep adding animals until something gets out of hand.

I do miss your Burmese black/brown mountain tortoises! They are just so interesting very different from all the others.. Hopefully someday again. But Kenan the best thing aside from Nostridomis is of course Snaggie and lady Dale. I am obessed with your journey and will be here for it! Love you brother!

I miss those too,and Solomon and El diabla the skinks(they were my favorites cause they even though they kinda Slow but they were Spicy keeping kenan pumping with adrenaline hahaha)

I do miss the Burmese mountain tortoises and can’t forget the crazy Hermann’s that used to chase you about trying to bite you all the time and the mata mata, he was beyond cute. Its such a shame that Lumpy is such a bully but it’s always fun watching him following you around and when he drove you crazy digging tunnels under the old shed 😆It’s amazing just how much the Kamp has changed over the years. All for the better of course 😄🐢🤗

I'm 58 and I plan on watching you as long as you put out content. Living in northern Utah means that if I do keep any tortoises that they have to stay small so I can keep them indoors for the Winter and at night. We have friends who have a huge indoor aquarium with a couple of red eared sliders, but I'm not up to that level of upkeep. If anything, I might rescue a small box turtle at some point and it would be because of you and your love for these animals. I'm on a truly tiny income but I hope to do whatever I can hoping that a lot of small donations can equal enough to help make a difference. Truly, thank you Kenan! It was fun watching the kids help with the upkeep. They are darling. Keep working with the hairy tortoise. He'll come around!

I definitely want to see you in ten years(and especially hopefully Cersei will have her first clutch of eggs with Nostradamus) And maybe you'll have a mate before than with "Pancake" they'll be totally rad to see baby softshell turtles at the kamp.

The torts are what brought me to your channel and now I'm addicted to it all (except the snakes, sorry). I hope to be around in 10 years to see your videos!! Always looking forward to your videos and what's happening at the Kamp. I loved seeing the aerial view from the pond guy. It was a fast glimpse, but it would be so cool to see the entire kamp from the sky!!

Yes ! Please keep taking us on your daily tours and telling us about the animals. I had an occasion where the conversation was about tortoises and I was able to understand and even say a few things myself. It was through you that I was able to be a part of that and I thank you. I'm a great grandmother and most of the people were in 30s to 50s and were quite surprised with my knowledge. Ahh what fun !

I think that radiated tortoise should be named Giza in tribute to her pyramids :) I love seeing all the changes at the camp, but especially how you always talk about how important each animal is and how much you love all of them!

Great video. Thank you for a Tortoise video. Thank you Kenan for introducing us to so many of the keepers in Florida as well. Because of this in a few days we have a VIP tour at Iguanaland booked. Kenan it’s funny I starting watching you about the same time as chandler, Tyler and Dingo. And when a swing back to watch your stuff I feel like your the Grandfather of great animal keeping, now I’m 49 so I’m not saying it to dig on you, I’m saying it because your comforting in a sense. Hey Kenan, have you thought about buying Dung Beetles? You can get ones you can release into the camp and they will go around and burry all the animal poo for you and help enrich the soil and make plants grow faster as well as making it less tedious for you to have to do

Florida has enough problems with released animals. Dung beetles seem harmless, but let's not, shall we?

@@Kehy_ThisNameWasAlreadyTaken They release them in parks around the states already to help fight dog and cat poo, its just not talked about a lot, also they literally eat poo and lay their eggs in poo, they are fairly harmless XD

@@kreganf Each dung beetle species is typically specialized to a particular species' dung, so you'd have to find tortoise and monitor lizard dung beetles. That said, again, let's not. Florida is not a shining example in terms of ecological care

I love your vids! Seeing all the kamp residents thriving is absolutely super. There's only one thing I don't like and that's getting travel sick when the camera gets waved around - doesn't happen too often though, fortunately!
