Tour of DOLLY PARTON's Family Cemetery & Hometown Haunts 

I live about an hour south of sevierville and my mom works at the hospital where dolly donated money to build the breast cancer center. She’s such a local hero and I love anytime we get to see her being honored!

Who doesn’t love Dolly. She is a great person. And a performer that is not like anyone else. Thanks Jordan. Wonderful

I wish my friend, Bill, were still living. He would have loved to have watched this video; I certainly do. He introduced me to Dolly Parton's music. I agree with you about Dolly being the most generous person alive . She has done so much for Sevierville . It will be a sad day when Ms.Dolly leaves this earth. I visit the Smoky Mountains twice a year and have been coming here since I was 2 years old and I am 59 . I love the area and hope to live in the mountains one day.Thanks so much Jordan for visiting this area and letting the rest of the world know about it. I used to live in Sevierville. I went to the same elementary school she went to and one of my teachers, Mrs Parton, is one of her cousins. A lot of my classmates were relatives of her. It was wild.

I worked at Dollywood in the entertainment dept. from 94-06. And let me tell you Dolly is the nicest most down to earth person there is. When I worked there she would do a photo once a year with employees. It would be different departments and she would take a photo with say entertainment dept, attractions dept...etc. And this took a long time to do. And she never rushed the process at all. She was so nice and appreciative of every single employee there. A great lady!! And I'm not sure but I always was told(and again not for certain) that the building( I believe it's vacant now) that is to the left of the First Baptist Church was Cas Walker's. Great vlog! You did a great job covering a great lady!!

My fiancé and I were just in Sevierville this past weekend for our anniversary and we’re now Dollywood pass holders 😁 We didn’t get the chance to see the Dolly statue but it’s on our list for next time! She is truly an ICON !

Oh I love Dolly so much. I took my mother, who was also a shapely glamorous blonde, lol, to see Dolly in concert quite a few years ago. I would say it was during her "9 to 5" period. Or maybe a little later. We loved her but we never expected her to be as talented as she was. She played every instrument and bantered with the audience and when she sang "coat of many colors", while accompanying herself on the guitar, it was very emotional. Wonderful vlog Jordan.

I love Dolly! She has outlived my parents! My favorite is her duet with Kenny Islands in the Stream. The only other beloved celebrity for me was Betty White. I cried so much when she passed. She was so funny! So is Dolly. Thank you for this wonderful tour!

I’ve been to Dollywood twice. They have a show there that is put on by her family members. In my opinion, it is the highlight of the entire park. Featured are several uncles, aunts, and cousins. I hope they are still doing that show, as a lot of the uncles and aunts we’re getting up there in age, but still put on a great show.

I loved the premier Livestream this morning and I'm glad you were able to join us. Dolly has been one of my favorites since '80 from the movie '9 to 5' and her album of the same name. I ran across her biographical data a few times over the years, but nothing as personal as what your video covered. Yes I was really surprised by her town. I expected something more like what we saw in 'Coalminer's Daughter.' I'm so glad you covered her home town. It makes us feel closer to her somehow.

Where you were looking for Emerys ….you were at the right space. Emerys was never torn down, nor was it across the street. I’m 75 lived here my entire life. Thats exactly where emery’s has always been, plus they had another one in Pigeon Forge, not as large, owned by the Ayer’s family. Red’s Cafe, what is now called Reds opened a new shop down town this spring, I think on the same side of the street as Emerys.

The thing I most admire about dolly is that footage where she shoots down the news person that tries to get her political takes and stuff like about current day thing and she says that's something that she'll never divulge all celebrities in the entertainment industry should take note of that only ones that do are so wealthy they don't mind alienating half their fan base... Dollys doing it right I've been a fan ever since hearing her songs on my Dad's favorite country radio station on long drives going places
