Great interview Bob and Mary! Just one more foot hold in my fence I’m climbing to get to the other side. With one leg dangling over and easing my hips onto the outside of this fence, Interviews like this give me more lateral movement! Having less is certainly more, the emotional and spiritual gifts one gets from being in a community where no one knows anyone yet everyone feels connected, what more can we need!I heard in an interview once that we meet people for a season, a reason, or a lifetime, as stated in the interview by Mary. Keep on trucking my friends, I’ll see you out there!

Seeing the van built out with a trailer gives me the idea of maybe having a trailer that's just a shower/wash basin & outhouse type deal, maybe even fitting mobile washer/dryer things too, someplace insulated to keep water... endless possibilities!

Hi Bob! I have been watching so many of your videos and identify with many of the people that you have shown tours of their "homes" with. I have ordered a Promaster van and will be doing my own "build-out" on it so that I can start traveling on off days. Maybe one day I can be full-time too! thanks for your in-depth reviews and tours. I love how beautiful has done her Van with all the beautiful wood and the wood burning stove! The Gypsy wagon looks gorgeous from the outside! I looked at a few on the market which are so expensive. She is blessed to have people in her life who could help with this beautiful set-up! This would be a dream come true to live a free life and enjoy the fruits of her labor. 👍

Yes, but I'm working toward it, have my F250 mostly built for extended trips. Just start, and do a little at a time as you are able, and you too will get there!

Hey Bob (and Mary), Apologies if I’ve said this before but I adore you & your loving heart. I live in a subsidized apt but would love to be a nomad. Due to health issues I can’t do that perhaps ever. In the meantime, I’m a Patreon tho you & contribute a small donation to HOWA monthly even tho I live on disability & food stamps. I watch a lot of YT but you’re the only one I give back to. As well as the curtain under the bed, I also curtain the top of the bed,plus I do under the back as well...I took a winter quilt and cover then cut them to the size of the drop around the bed so you make a quilted barrier wraparound.This keeps you snug and warm plus it cuts down any outside noise.Great idea with the drawers.

As someone who has travelled with trailers and with camper vans, the camper van allows you to park and walk back without going outside, which can be a huge advantage. It's also nice to be able to parallel park in a city without the trailer.

I identify with the mobile homes that you show us Bob, for example. Unfortunately here in Spain the most popular are potty with chemicals and a lot of people are against simple bag or dry toilet. The laws are very demanding and sometimes very stupid, for example it is forbidden to put a wood stove and it is my dream. Maria has a very beatiful house and I wish she stills enjoying it for a long long long time. Thanks once again Bob.

What a beautiful rig. I am looking at pulling a trailer if I chose a van over a shuttle bus and her son did a fabulous job. She is so handy and I am not so I know I am going to have to get help. Good to know if I start with a no build build I can go out west and get help prices in the northeast are crazy expensive.

I was going to say it would be nice if you could do a video on the pros and cons about wheat it's like to live on the road and I am asking this because I saw a video on RU-vid that someone was saying that people will go and live on the road and do van life and they only film the good moments but they will not film the bad and it confused me and so that is one thing I was thinking.

My dog is only 7# so the vet said a rattlesnake shot won’t help. I carry children’s Benadryl recommended by a friend but not sure it would help with a snake bite either. The rivers they drink out of and swim in probably have toxins that can cause cancer. I don’t give her heart worm in the desert or have ever seen a flea or tick so why spend the money on chemicals that may cause cancer as well. Sadie couldn’t have a better Mom; keep up the good work. RV dogs are the lucky ones and so are we!

Omg this is the first time I really thought about how I could wash my hair it's really thick and long it actually takes me a good two and a half hours to wash condition and tie up when I'm at home.😕

I had the same problem - got tired of spending so MUCH time on my hair - life is short - so I cut my hair short, too. My hair is thick and curly - and now short! Easy peasy to wash and condition and put 'curly girl' leave-in product on.

It strikes me that anyone who want's to give full-timing a go should give it a try. If it doesn't work out, well then one can go back to sticks & bricks conventional. Or, even if one does this for all of four years or so, that would certainly be a grand adventure!

I just love what she's been able to do! Some great ideas. Someone told me that removing the passenger seat in one of the newer vehicles would prevent them from being able to pass a smog test. I'd never heard that before - is it true?
