The scale of this home echoing in large volume..I mean when u see sizes that only you could imagine & dream about this is the home. Master bedroom, outdoor Backyard pool, Super car garage that could fit to your desire cars? Mind Boggling! I'm impressed Darren, The Amount of spaces, beautiful surroundings, I love it. It's a perfect Mega Mansion INGL very nicely put on the Tour...Thanks for the Tour Excellent Job! ❤❤❤
The most impressive thing of this home is the massive garage. Most of these luxury homes have a relatively small garage for maybe 4-6 cars tops. The house and a lot of the furniture looks really dated the new owner would have to spend a lot of money on up dating a lot of things.
@ 4:51 & 5:56 What genius decided not to put the toilet in a water closet??? When you sink the water closet you can leave the door shut and it won’t stink up the rest of the bathroom. But when you’ve got a toilet sitting out in the middle of the bathroom, the whole place is going to stink. ALSO someone’s gonna face plant right into that thing in the middle of the night because of that step up.
It's probably the same genius that thought it was a good idea to put a secondary kitchen next to a bedroom (and nowhere near a dining room) or the genius that designed the unusable narrow garage. Also for such large showers areas you would want a large ceiling mounted rain hower fixure. I would have fired the designer and hired someone who is practical. Such a waste of a property that had promise. There is way more wrong with the layout, but not enough room here to list it all.
Wait till you have seen a few dozen home that are $50 million or more & see how elaborate and well thought out the theater rooms are then your opinion may change.
Also this movie screen aspect ratio isn’t correct. It’s to small to even watch regular HDTV on (HGTV aspect ratio is 16:9). Whereas a cinema movie screen aspect ratio is 2.35:1 to 2.40:1.
Hey Darren! This is a large house and it is awesome! If I were to move here, I would have one of the sitting areas turning into a game room. I love it! Thanks a lot!😊
Darren: Since you've walked both mansions, how would you compare this one to the Chalon Road (Dan Bilzerian's old rental) one? Something about this layout just seems a bit off to me: laundry room connected to a living room and the chef's kitchen seems pretty far from the dining room and show kitchen. How do they compare to you when you walked both?
Very impressive house... nice presentation darren as always .. great video .. one request .. can u make a detailed video on "The Manor" .. i would love to see you explaining that house .. thanks
Please see videos from Enes Yilmazer. There you can observe how he captures the special qualities of a home, lighting and angles. I appreciate how he doesn’t appear in every scene. There’s a good balance and he doesn’t seem rushed or disconnected from the showing. Yes, he is more experienced but we can always learn something from those who have done it before us. Good luck and keep going.
Beautiful floating stair way, overall is a beautiful home, but who make bed in the morning? Me. I confess, I'm wonder woman, my harms can strech so long....😊❤
the secondary kitchen would be the catering kitchen because the principals don't want hired staff to defile the family kitchen. incidentally the owners would rarely eat what the caterers produce. this is only for guests who are here not out of love or friendship but manipulation, advantage, avarice, and deception.
This home is advertised as 20,000 square feet but if you check the LA tax portal after it has sold the city will list the actual square feet of this home. I bet the actual square footage is a little less than 16,000 sqft. Builders in LA are famous for over exaggerating/lie about actual square footage of a house. With that said, The One is 77,881 sqft (per the city tax records) which is way bigger than this 16,000 ft home. By the way when The One was for sale the builder said it was 100,000 sqft which is no where close to the actual size of 77,881 sqft.
@@jamielancaster01 True but Niles has developed several homes that were much smaller than the One. It more or less reminds me of a Niles home because of the finishes, the spacious guest rooms and the multiple unnecessary living areas. Although I will admit his finishes weren’t groundbreaking. It was really the combo of the three.
The street is greay but the lot is not a 50 million level at all.. And I hate that the master bdrm is just a little left from the entrance!!! Sq footage is good though for a narrow lot like this
Don't know the color of the LED lightning can be adjusted. But what I see is way to blue, anything above 3500 Kelvin looks cold and death. Don't want to live in a morgue.
Who would spend 50,000,000 for a house. The guy didn't spend that much to build that house with all of it's luxuries. I'll go 3 or 4 mill tops. You ask for 5 or 6 million reasonable. I would offer 3. I wouldn't go over 4. Theirs suckers born every day. You got to be stupid to pay that much. You live in it. You look good in that suit.
The developer probably spent between $3-4 million on the land alone assuming it was an empty lot ($5-6 million if there was actually an existing structure) seeing as it is Bel Air. I agree with you that $50 mil is way too much for this house, then again developers in this market usually over inflate the price. This house will probably sell for somewhere between $18 and 25 mil, may be even less depending on how desperate the builder is to sell. It definitely looks like they ran out of money towards the end. Blowing the majority of the budget on marble, custom artwork, and custom furniture.
The garage is bullshit just a long tube how could you ever fit 30 cars in there?? And your neighbors will hate you starting your cars in this open garage!!
I once read a comment regarding the way some presenters talk when describing a house in that annoying way like this presenter does. The commenter used the term SING SONG which perfectly describes that annoying way this presenter talks. I can't watch videos with that format.
Layout is pretty bad. Too many useless couch areas and only 5 bedrooms for such a big house, if you are couple with 3 kids and a nanny, where you put the guests or grandparents coming for a visit? And landscaping is barren, there is so much more that could have been done instead of those ugly concrete boxes with red flowers. Could have had a basketball or a mini golf stretch even(for golfers that is). If it was a family home, that garage, half could have been a bowling alley or a VR playroom. Feel like the previous owners were either a bachelor or a couple of socialists with no kids, who only likes to party with hollywood elites. This is a show off and party house, it does not feel like a home.
@@kariahpierre1679 you sound a little unhappy. That house isn't going to make you happy when you're in a big house all by yourself. Do you know how scared you'll be if you were sleep and heard something in the closet, went to check it out and saw nothing? Who's going to clean and uphold the basics? That's insanity
You & your family, 2 or 3 live in maids (honestly, it will take that many just keep this house clean and doing the windows), & your live in chef - a house can get small real quick. Besides, builders in LA ALWAYS overexaggerate the square footage. This house is probably only 16,000 square feet not 200,000 square feet.
@@rickyricardo6730 Seems more like you are projecting your own unhappiness on others really. They said they "wouldn't mind living alone in a large home like that", they did not say they "need to live in a large home like that". Being comfortable living in a large home by yourself is not even remotely indicative of being unhappy. On the other hand, needing all of your friends and family to live in the place with you because you would get scared if you heard a noise in the home at night is pretty insane. You might wanna talk to a therapist my guy.
