I’ve been wanting to do a studio tour for a while now but I never quite felt like my space was “ready” to be seen. Usually home studio tours are either about being cozy or eclectic or perfect, and I just never thought my space was enough of any of those things. And there are so many studio tours for 2023 already, I kinda thought mine wasn’t necessary. But I realized that was just my way of holding my self back because my home studio is good enough.
Whether you want to call it my recording studio or my art studio or simply my cozy home workspace, one thing in certain- this is my space to use and enjoy as I please and I want to share that will you all today. So grab a cup a coffee and a sit back and relax as I walk you through my aesthetic artist studio.
On instagram, I asked what kind of questions you all had about my space and 3 things kinda seemed to keep coming up over and over again. How do I keep an aesthetic home workplace, what is my organization system and what kind of set up do I have?
The first is easy to answer, I just tired to curate a space that I would actually love being in and you’ll see in the video how I choose to decorate my space to give it that aesthetic art studio vibe while still being a part of my home. The second, is kinda not the best answer: Organized chaos. Everything has a home and a place that it lives and I keep pretty good tabs on what is where but as someone with ADHD, I kinda need things to be very visible. Out of site out of mind is my biggest downfall when it comes to my supplies, so I kind of just use a little bit of everything (as you’ll see). But really I just to to put everything away at the end of the day to make sure it stays an organized art studio.
For the third question, my set up is largely based on my needs. I use a lot of paint in my projects so that my number one priority in my set up, art supply organizing in that way that you’ll see in my space helps to create cozy and helps me stay clean. Artist paint storage is not the only part of my set up but it is the main focal point.
