Touring on a ZH2? Well, not really, just a longer ride than this beast was ever built for!
300kms from Adelaide to the Riverland and back in South Australia with a load of musings on riding this route late last century on other inappropriate bikes and some family history ruminations as I go to visit my father.
A visit to some spots on the river and our ancestral home... AND a bloody near miss @23:00 that could have canned the whole trip!

Did you replace the rear seat with the Kawasaki replacement piece or get one off Amazon? I want to replace mine but don’t really want to buy the Kawasaki one. It’s a little pricey but I worry about the quality and color match of the Amazon one.

Hi, it’s the original Kawasaki cowl. I put it on as one the first mods when I bought the bike. Not cheap but looks the goods with the rear passenger foot pegs removed too!

@@kawakarma ok thanks. I don’t really trust buying one off Amazon. I think I may just order the Kawasaki one. I took my rear pegs off when I put the Vandemon exhaust on so I figured I might as well get rid of the seat part. Seriously doubt I’ll ever have a passenger on my bike. Thanks for the info!!
