@@khalifaalmazrouei5005 better than I would of done. I think Jake would make me nervous, I would worry about mispronouncing something or miss naming coral and getting called out for it.
Just bought some awesome frags from tsa! They are beautiful and they did a great job shipping the corals! I will be back for sure. I posted on my channel if you wanna see some of the bounce shrooms I got and all of the amazing chalice corals and favites 👍👏✌️👌❤️
Please talk about the HVAC system you have to combat all that moisture. I have several propagation tanks in a room and programmed AC and vents and dehumidifiers to keep it balanced. Many that want to get into lowboy propagation find this out too late...
Jake brings another excellent content video to the people 🐟🐟🐟. Thanks Kevin for showing we folks in the hobby how much goes into farming coral. It’s a lot of planning, execution and maintenance. With systems this large and diverse you take on a lot of risk to catch early any thing going sideways… Can’t imagine the power requirements and bill for electricity a month 😳. Next, Solar and Wind Turbine farming to power your coral farming …. 🥳. Australia will being calling you for seed frags to restore the G.B.R. .. 👍
I'd like to say I'm impressed overall and I cant wait overall to buy from you guys overall and I hope overall I can get overall the overall overall overall. No really, great video, I love the clean plumbing and the fact all the coral is QT'd. Great job guys!
My dear friend, I admire your channel, and I live in a city on the Red Sea coast,Egypt and I would like to start a project for breeding coral reefs, so what are the requirements for the project in terms of materials, components, details, costs, and how can the products be marketed and what are their types and prices?
I’ve seen so many TSA videos but this is the ultimate video. They are so organized and take pride in their work and set ups! I definitely need make a purchase from them soon.
Jake, what is your opinion on those spectrum that he deems useless? I think he specifically named cyan, reds and greens. I have heard it’s debatable that the reds and greens promote algae at typical reef levels. Just really curious, results don’t lie but as we all know, there are many many ways to keep tanks.
I don't think TSA thinks these colors are useless, as he said in the video they keep elevated nutrients under which those wavelengths can fuel algae growth.
@@ReefBuildersVideo right right. Not useless just not ideal for those colors propensity to fuel algae growth with elevated nutrients. I always have a hard time with thIs concept… say that someone runs those particular wavelengths and they have 3ppm NO3 and 25ppb phosphorus. Aren’t those nutrients equally available to grow algae as they are it’s they at 25 and 100 respectively? If they are there to be used then why aren’t they being used at the same rate? Why wouldn’t they get ‘sucked dry’? Not sure if what I am trying to ask it getting across… If there is an algae that is going to uptake at high levels, wouldn’t they uptake at the same rates if those levels are low and they are available?
If I ever get into reefing again I don't think I'd get fish. I feel like the power heads must drive them crazy with the sound of the spinning propeller. Corals and snails I don't feel bad for
Absolutely stunning quality and selection, not to forget the importance of their high standards for quarantine. Excellent video and passion by you both. Mahalo Kevin for sharing so much hard earned knowledge even though we know it's much more complex than even this extensive video can cover.
I was about to say 'this would be a shame to not be in 4k' and low and behold, not disappointed. :) Thanks for the quality upload! It's beautiful! I live in central Florida; it's great to know when I start a tank, someone with this much quality stuff is so close!
Excellent video Jake and Kevin. It’s great to see so much experimentation and pushing the limits. Can’t wait to see a 6.5k MH on the system. OG is new again;)
WOW that was really really impressive!!! Kevin did an awesome job walking us through every square inch of the farm. An definitely makes a fairly newbie like me want to buy from him. Seeing how well everything is taken care of an kept so clean makes me feel good about what i receive. Thank you so much to both of you guys!
Definitely my favorite video of all videos. Y'all did an excellent job of covering what advanced hobbiest want to see and hear. In my opinion top shelf is top shelf and their newer approach is what I have been doing and of course getting all kind of slack and smack but proof is always in the results. Jake you are the man and thank you for this awesome video!
this was an awesome video, the level of expertise on display is fantastic , unfortunately it makes me realise how inferior i am and should probably leave this hobby to the pros :( lol
No. Everyone has to start from somewhere, as these guys no doubt did. You don’t just turn into an experienced reefer overnight. The hobby is always changing so the term ‘pro’ fits nobody in the hobby.
