Horses do that to other horses . It’s usually a sign of affection. Although sometimes not . Anyway although lady understandably rattled she looked ok. May have a bruise on her arm though but will heal in a couple of weeks.

The horse is only there for one hour. The tourists treated the soldiers and horses as novelties and not as a man and horse on duty. They are not toys. People need to stand back and be respectful.

He is a the Kings Guard. He is not there to guard the foolishness of some people.

There's signs posted at each and every location that a mounted King's Guard "stands watch" that states that the horses may bite or otherwise respond badly to the presence of tourists. This is no different than the warnings in Yellowstone National park in the US, telling tourists to stay away from the wildlife, yet several times a year morons get gored/stomped by bison or attacked by bears and other wildlife, because of tourist stupidity and ignoring the warning!

They aren't pets, they are very large working animals. It is not necessary to be that close to the horse to get a picture. Humans are dangerous too.
