Towers, Castles, and Chaos (Low Elo Legends) 

You'll likely lose at least your first 10 games while the system tries to work out your true ranking, so don't be disheartened. I found watching all the LEL games really useful when I started - seeing what *not* to do is as good as learning what *to* do (and its fun watching other noobs mess up).

@@stevelaw3886 LEL is why I went out to get a computer so I can play. I went 1-5 in ranked but it wasn’t terrible. Just felt like I was a step behind everyone. I’m hoping it just arena rust and not old age.

Forget your age, it's basically impossible to play even close to the level of modern AoE players if you did not play for so many yearas. Numerous players practice vs AI, watch guides, practice build orders, etc. I would highly recommend that after some time you pick a civilization that you like and play like 10-20 games only on that civ. This should help you to understand many aspects about the game. Once you feel comfortable with that civ, you CAN switch to a different one, to work on your weaknesses. It's nice to see that some people jump into rankeds so quickly. Many players are too scared to do that - me included 11 But i play team rankeds and I love it

I love this game, but i just cant play much ranked (like 19 games since 2021 around 1k elo) as I just don't have a good mindset for it. I stress and frustrated waaaay too much. wish I could just not care and have fun playing it. I got douched in a soctra game and I wasn't happy 11.

I think you'd see people having tc wars without having to rebuild their tcs.

I used to love playing Rise of Nations on smallest map with 7 computers. The territory system it has made it interesting, also limited how quickly the computer could boom then steam roll me lol

@@dudusantosnutricionista5278 Agree. But it’s titled LEL. I move T90 start calling low elo LEL and mid elo MEM. Because, you know, T90 is probably a democracy so we can push him around like that, right?

Also, we need something for high elo that involves an H….. High Elo…helicopters? Horses? Horror? Happiness? I dunno, something.

He did discuss this during the video. His cut off is 1k elo.

I don't think this was an easy win for yellow. He had 5min extra TC idle time at one point and was down 12 vils. He won by fortifying the center of a tiny map. If anything, yellow should be accused of inflating his Elo by one-tricking Socotra.
