how much weight were you towing? also did you use 5th or 6th gear ?

What’s the tow rating on this? Been looking at the golf but I like how much more room this has then the golf but need to tow at least 2000 pounds

They’re rated at 2k but I heard that’s only because the brakes aren’t designed to handle towing in the first place. I’m sure the TDIs can tow more than 2k
