Its interesting, that the electric UTV seems so easy. And all that towing, too!?!?! I've heard the naysayers report that electric is "weak", but your video shows different! AND @ 20mph! Holy Canoli! That's great! Thank you so much for this video! And thank you for including your dog!
Thanks for the great video KingRex. Quick question since some time has passed since this video: did you see a big impact on the range when towing? Have you had to change your break pads yet? Do you know how fast you can charge with a 220 (I have a 16amp 220 for my Tesla).? And lastly but most important can you limit the charging to 80% to make the battery last longer? Thanks for your videos Kandi should pay you 🤠
Thanks for doing this series. I am very interested in this machine, but info hard to come by. You mentioned braking down hill, are the brakes regenerative? What type of warranty does it have and how do you get it serviced. The limited reviews that I have seen indicated manufacturer is not responsive.
Good morning... The brakes are disc front and back. They are very adequate for this machine. I'm just old school and like a little assistants from the gears and engine when going down hill. So I miss that. The people I purchased from, assured me that I would receive service if I had a problem....🤞 I don't think anyone is out there trying to produce junk just to make a quick buck. That being said... all manufacturers have had their share of failures. This company has been around for close to 20 years (2002 ?). They're trying to expand to the US market which won't be easy. We're a tough crowd to please 🤪. But I liked what I saw and what they said it would do, so I jumped in with both feet. To date... it's lived up to it's claims🙂 Thanks for watching ✌️
Had a Kandi technician come to my house to fix a problem, which he did.. He informed me that the braking system is regenerative, but not as powerfully so as electric card.
Yepper, it is quite wide. 4" less than my Honda Pilot 🤪. However it does a good job on my trails as you can see in my other videos 👍 Thanks for watching ✌️
Interested in one here in NJ. Are you and any other purchasers happy with the Kandi so far. Thanks for sharing videos of the Kandi and your beautiful surroundings. Replies are greatly appreciated.
@@paulweinstein784 I am happy with my purchase, yes 🙂 We are still (as far as I know), the only ones in our area that owns one. They did however just start offering them at our local Lowe's.
Hey neighbor across the way... I have not gone through the process of getting mine tagged for road use. Driving on the road is Not something I regularly do. I didn't want to insure and tag another vehicle for the handful of times I use it that way. All I've done is treat this like a piece of farm equipment. I've installed the orange triangle on the back for my limited road use. I live in a rural area with no traffic lights or busy intersections. Just quiet back roads . I believe Waynesville cycle center can walk you through the process of everything you need to register it for road use. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching ✌️
@@thekingrexway probably going to go the farm vehicle route as well… road use will be to drag a small dump trailer into and out of the sawmill for bedding and occasional manure deliveries.
