It is a rockin machine... I wouldn't put it in an "Extreme" machine category , but it's a well rounded work horse and that's what makes it a good deal. Thanks for watching ✌️
@@joshsalama8311 That is our dilemma in this area. I did receive a comment from someone in NC who received good support and a technician even came to their house, so.... that was encouraging. The two issues I've encountered were solved by a reset. Which I'll go over in my next video. Congratulations on your upcoming purchase and thanks for watching ✌️
Congratulations 👍 I am still very satisfied with my purchase. As I've stated in my videos, it's not the most powerful or crazy making machine, but it does make a great work vehicle. Thanks for watching. I'm going to be doing a six month review in next couple of weeks. ✌️
Hello there. I am just over the hill from you in Bryson City. I have a 2021 Intimidator EV with Lead Acid Batteries. I also have a RU-vid channel, and I would love to do a side by side comparison of what these machines are really capable of. I am going to do a Lithium swap at some point, but I would love to show the real benefits of lithium vs lead acid, in an actual side by side test, with a nearly identical sized machine. Let me know if your interested. I have very very step terrain where I live in Nantahala Gorge. If you could plan to come here one weekend, that would be awesome.
Hey neighbor 👋 Doing a comparison sounds like fun plus it will provide more information to anyone looking at making an electric UTV purchase. It's to wide for my 5'x10' trailer to haul ... so I'll have to solve that before I can get over there. We could also do it over here if you have the means to haul yours. We'll figure something out 🤪 Meantime I'll continue learning more about mine and I'll check out your channel to see what yours is like. I hope this day has found you well and everything is going smooth ✌️ thekingrexway.com
I think you're right. I probably should have let the tire noise come through for a minute. That is the only sound you hear from this machine as you cruise down the road. I'll be sure to capture that in my next long run. Until then, you can close your eyes and hum real loud and that'll give you a little idea of what it's like 🤪🙂 Thanks for watching ✌️

Very cool machine. I test drove one in August here in Wisconsin. I didn't buy yet because I want to see how they perform in winter. I know it has to be above 32 degrees to charge them but very interested to see them operate in freezing temps. I was wondering why the lithium phosphate batteries don't come with a built in warmer. If they do good in freezing temps I will be getting one for sure. I could always get a heating wrap to charge them in winter or use torpedo heater to warm up garage and battery. Have you taken yours up a steep ridge yet? I am curious how the all wheel with limited slip does. Thanks for the great videos!
Hey Michael, thanks for watching. With the kinds of snowfall we have been getting here in the past few years, I'm confident this machine will perform well. Wisconsin on the other hand gets a much deeper and longer lasting snow. Yikes! I don't believe you can setup a plow blade on this thing, not sure. I too, will be interested in knowing how your winter test goes. I have tried to show how well this machine climbs my trails here. It just doesn't translate in 2 dimension. I'll try again this week to show it. So far it's gone everywhere I've asked it to go. But, as I said in another comment.... it's not an "Extreme" machine. It's a well rounded work horse. Thanks again for watching ✌️
That wouldn't be very convenient. We had temperatures in the single digits at times this winter and I didn't notice any ill affects. I didn't let the charge get below 40% and I did my charging during the warmest part of the day when needed. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching ✌️
Oh Absolutely! It doesn't really come across just how steep my trails are or the gravel road that I'm towing on. But I have other videos demonstrating these things. Just look at the background and you'll get an idea of my terrain. Thanks for watching ✌️
It can be tagged for use on public roads. I was cheating with a farm equipment sign on the back. It does have a windshield, mirrors, head and tail lights as well as turn signals. Plus seatbelts. Which are required for registration. Thanks for watching ✌️
Good morning @craigs5118... The short answer is yes! That being said, I have seen from other owners on Facebook a few cases of software issues, but nothing customer service hasn't remedied. And... customer service, while slow at times, comes through in the end. Even if it takes sending a technician to you to solve the problem. So again... Yes. Going to try and get off my butt and do a six month review on mine today. Thanks for watching ✌️
I would love to buy a Kandi Cowboy but I need a 4-seater. I've tried 5 or 6 times to contact someone at Kandi America in Dallas, but I've been totally unsuccessful. Each time I've called, employees in their call center (who know absolutely nothing about the Kandi products) give me the runaround and tell me everyone is busy but someone will call me back (but they never do). All I want to know is whether they plan to release a 4-seater anytime in the near future so that I don't prematurely buy something else, but no luck so far getting an answer to such a simple question...
Check with a dealer. Someone there may have an idea of what's coming in the future, or can provide you with a contact at KANDI America. Sorry I don't have a better answer for you. Thanks for watching ✌️
Have you gotten it stuck??? I hunt a lot and have to cross several creeks that are steep. I have a tracker EVis now that has dual 72v motors and it goes everywhere I need it to
Those little trackers seem to do a good job. No, I haven't gotten stuck yet. But I haven't done any kind of mudding with either 🤪. As far as hauling my equipment up and down and through my wooded trails it does an awesome job. I've tried to demonstrate this in my other videos but, I can't seem to really capture how steep my terrain is.
Max range says 60miles. You drove 8 and were down to 50% battery? That's the only thing holding me back from buying. I'd like at least 30 mile range at max speed.
Good evening... Yes, I went from 80% - 57% in 8 miles. That's 23% usage or roughly 25% ....so....at that kind of speed and pulling up a couple of long hills, it looks like I would get only 32 miles per full charge. I'll document some more runs and see how it averages out. Especially now since it's been broke in. Thanks for watching ✌️
I hear the sound you're talking about and I believe it's an echo in the microphone distorting a squeak in the coilover shocks. It hasn't proved to be a notice issue in person. Thanks for watching ✌️
Just thought the music was better than the tire noise. I did make another one just so we can hear the noise. High speed on the road with these tires is quite loud. Thanks for watching ✌️
