Such a tried and true build. I skipped TR last league after starting it for like 6 leagues. I think I'll go back and figure out where game goes while hanging out with my old squeeze.
dark marionettes wont require desacrate they're inventory corpses the way they work is they just respawn on the ground if you remove the spectre gem so the only weird part is if you move the gem around and leave the hideout or area, them you would need to buy a new set of marionets, if they work the same as in affliction them its going to be no different than divine blessing probably even better
Thanks for putting out very very very good videos. I like that you are very straightforward with your builds and how you view content. Keep up the great work and I was wondering how your POB has the new tree for 3.25
Good PSA. Another cruel stealth nerf to Pathfinders. It's okay, you can just lean further into defensive value from flask suffixes, but this one was kinda mean-spirited by GGG.
Ran your Ball Lightning of Orbiting Hierophant this league and I am an average player at best. Ended with 300 Divines, 25000 chaos plus a shit ton of other mats worth a couple of hundred divs. Thanks for your guides you should have a lot more followers than you do.
Extremely well put together presentation, great job. Do you still think kintsugi beats out lightning coil with a topaz flask? My guess was that it would end up still being really powerful especially with the new bonus to endurance charges.
Thanks alot for your guides they are awesome!! if i may ask TR PF lvling is the best filter for TR league start or should i go with league starter loot filter of urs?
Love all your videos! Im also following your 3.24 crafting guide, its awesome to be able to craft your own gear! I do seem to get melted in T17 ultra endgame mana build. Would you have any tips to be tankier? Im pretty much following the build to a T except the belt which i crafted a Stygian Vise
Hi Llarold, is this pob for using EB for early endgame > diadem > eventually build up to using mana instead? I've watched the video couple times and I'm still quite new to the game. Thanks for the guide!!
would you grab gathering winds forbidden jewels for this build? or the one that gives more mirage archers if i wanted to invest more? occupying force i believe it is
Definitely my starter. The sheer speed of the build is too enticing. Then ill look at a melee build. Thanks for the tweaks. There is rumblings of new elemental mitigation implicits for chest. Maybe along the lines of reduction rather than conversion so maybe a rare will be the way to go.
I really wanted to play Mahuxotl's PF again asap this League but it got killed by the change to Vaal Pact so I guess I'm gonna league start this and stick with it until very endgame
I always end up playing one, so might aswell start with it, right? Specially when you have a fellow poison lover who makes videos so people like me can even play cool stuff! Keep it up, will most likely play this.
This is another patch in a row the is nerfing our build. Still it should do pretty fine in all the content but again the damage output get hit. Maybe they didn't directly nerfed DPS but nerf to defenses are forcing gear/skills/jewels modification to compensate it. 1. Grace nerf is big for evasion chances. It should be compensate by increased evasion on top end bases but while I still want to use Coil and Diadem the only way to overcome this is by sacrificing Sulphur/Silver flask to jade flask (you won't get enough evasion on boots/gloves alone). 2. I was playing version with Melding for 90% max all res. Now with Divine blessing removal I need to drop Purity of Elements. To compensate the lost of all elemental resistances I need to swap Sulphur/Silver flask to Bismuth flask as well as 1 jewel slot for Stormshroud/Ancestral Vision jewel for elemental avoidance. 3. Removal phys as ele dmage from Watcher's eye and Taste of Hate cannot be recovered. It will hurt a lot in uber bosses fights, deep delve (like 1000+) and other possible hard content. 3. Divine blessing was giving us +30% increase aura effect, removing it is direct dps nerf for Malevolance. So to summarize after the change my build will loose 2 DPS flasks, 1 DPS+life jewel, decreased Malevolance effect, drop Onslaught in boss fights (as without flask we need to use Onslaught on kill on boots) and from defensive pov ~45% phys to ele conversion (22% from Watcher's + 23% from Taste with increased flask effects) for hard content. Normally I'm playing all league only with TR+CA Pathfinder but maybe this time around I will just start with it and sooner the later switch to some new meta melee build.
PF is still strong at what it does well (zooming and operating on a budget), but yeah, some of the highest-end potential may suffer. We'll have to see what the item enchanting brings to gearing possibilities. There could be some amazing stuff hidden in the new league mechanic!
So glad that this is still viable. I'm gonna start this and eventually reroll to warden once some of the dust settles :) Only thing I need to figure out: Can this do blight comfortably ?
Hi! Thanks for the content I subscribed to you very helpful. For jewel we Need shock avoidance flask = ultra endgame. Which flask to replace? Attack speed?
@@PathofEvening thank you! Can you please tell me how to replace the mod “#% increased Attack Speed during Effect” ? I just tried to craft it and when I couldn't I was told by people in chat that this mod was removed from the game.
what do you think about inextricable fate boots + the new vinespike cordial blight annoint to get all damage can poison? thinking about going it with the transfigured tr of sporeburst to tri ele scale poison lategame. Combining this with temporal chains could also get -100% ms on enemies and act as a defensive layer
Will you start a Discord soon? (also loved the Mjolner Build in 3.24. Didn't get it as great as your (never could get to a Mageblood another other high end stuff) but super fun
Frenzy probably dont help much with TR but Frenzy stacking Trickster with replica badge of the brotherhood for the new endurance changes looks like something to look into. I know Im going frenzy stacking trickster p conc
I am new into the game and I am following this build, but I keep dying way too easy. Dont know how many times I will have to see the video to fix the build with all the differents paths. I am just trying to make my build look like yours as much as possible, but still that's a lil bit hard.
@@PathofEvening Thank you for your reply. How important are the stun and block flasks to stay alive and the one that cost 25 divine? Also I see that you add the 70% improve to flask, but you need to use it manually if you add that. Damage is kind of decent at the moment, but compare to your build, I cant stay alive most of the time.
The SUPER-frustrating aspect of the taste of hate nerf is that it's essentially killed by two words: FROM HITS. If it also covered DoTs, you could cook up something SUPER spicy with that and divine flesh. But, alas.
How realistic is it having 15 wither stacks and 5 overlapping pods during mapping? It feels like my damage in POB with those 2 settings doesn't match in-game damage
Hi, im really new to POE and like the idea of a bow build thats good for maps and bossing. I have looked at your build and maxroll. I see your tree goes up early and maxrolls goes down towards the bleed immunity skill. Is there a reason why you dont move towards this skill and is your build good for bossing as well. Sorry for all the questions im just really new
Kintsugi blows sadly because it applies to spell hits taken as well, so even if you take a stray hit which we know happens a lot you're just opening yourself up to getting melted.
The crafted Phys taken as Ele was removed this league, but otherwise for helm it's just a fractured base, essence spam until suffixes are good, eldritch annuls to clean prefixes, lock suffixes and veiled orb until you unveil AoE, craft a prefix. The gloves are similar, fractured prefix, essence until suffixes are good, Veiled Orb to get AoE, craft Damage During Flask Effect. Not mandatory, just a high-cost option. Since the Phys as Ele on helm is gone, you're fine with skipping the Veiled Orb and just using Eldritch currency to get one good prefix and then crafting AoE on the helm. You can just craft it on the gloves prefix, as well, if you want.
Hey Llarold, I'm quite new to the game and I'm having trouble trying to build up from quill rain. I'm lacking a lot of damage and killing a rare mob at T14-16 takes a really long time. I've got the porcupine 6 link bow and kintsugi. What should my build up for damage be? Essencing for attack speed so I can craft multiplier? Or 6 link kintsugi? I have large cluster with 2 mods and alchemist's genius.
+ to Gem Levels and Chaos DoT Multi are big upgrades. An endgame Thicket Bow is by far the biggest upgrade you can get, since it accomplishes both of those while also providing a bunch of attack speed.
Having slammed it together in PoB, it's still slightly weaker than Efficacy by the look of things. There's potential, but probably not a huge change if it even winds up being competitive.
@@PathofEvening just got one. Holy crap it seems nice. Did a few rippy expeditions and where it should have died, I didn’t. I’ve never spent that much on 1 item.
Whats the best cluster jewel set up? Why are people running proj damage over choas? Also for your chest 6 link what set up is better a ca set up on a ballista totem or would a 6 link mana forge set up?
Also another thing wither set up. I use the annoint for more wither effect and the mastery that give a chance to give more wither stacks. Is that worth the extra point?
A high level spectre gem will let you have 2 spectres. If you have 2 marionettes they will rarely both die at the same time, eliminating the need to recast your blessing.
If we’re running the diadem unique, do we still use the guardian blessing/spectre or no? I just got the diadem, kintsugi, and tides belt. Just kinda confused on exact gem setup
Anyone out there playing the build and feels like paper without the phys mitigation ? Sitting around 82% evade, capped res and 100% Spell suppression and I’m on 6 portals every map.
The combination of Immortal Call, Wind Dancer, and Kintsugi, along with the new life values, should help with not getting spiked. But it's not impossible.
@@PathofEvening Hey, thanks for the reply. While the combination does help a little i feel so squishy compared to pre phys taken nerf. I just have no solution not to die this frequently against Garvicius in a one tap except for a 50 D Progenesis lol
The explosion is less than .01% of the damage. All of the damage comes from the vines while the pods are active, so increasing the duration directly increases the damage.
@@PathofEvening what you could do is have poison build with chance to bleed too to benefit from that generic dot multi. The siege cluster jewel gives 100% chance to bleed for projectiles. So with some set up there could be ez mode to reach dot cap
Issue with a toxic rain pathfinder is that it's not practical to play one as a league starter and the totem varient was nerfed to the ground. The build would need onslaught or high attack speed to sufficiently self cast. It can be cheesed with caustic for a time but it's only really a bandaid fix if the build wants to push into early bossing and onwards. A proper toxic rain self cast build can take a player anywhere to 25-50 divines, not league starter friendly settler's of kulguur moving forward. That being said, lightning coil is still a must for any build to mitigate phys damage as evasion alone by itself is just asking to have a very uncomfotable build that gets one shot on the regular. Phys to percentage conversion may have been nerfed but endurance charges will sure make a replacement over the taste of hate nerf.
EHP, can be a bit of a bait stat. The DR from Sand Stance isn't in PoB yet and the regen this build has is insane, so it should be able to survive a thing other than one-shots.
@@PathofEvening Fair enough. 51k ehp should be enough to clear T16 easily, which is what a league starter is meant for. Just seemed a bit low for taking the char to deeper end game.
I cant take this anymore. Please stop me from playing this once again. I swear this build carrying my noob ass all the way to atlas completion. I go with ballista version so it can run every single map modifier, every damn modifiers.
With the loss in survivability, do you think it's worth trying to build for endurance charges? And do you have a early league ways to fit that into the build?
Investing into them heavily is probably not the move, but getting some easy ones to juice Immortal Call by hitting Enduring Cry while fighting big enemies is absolutely an easy addition to the build that add a ton of damage reduction for low investment.
