TOY DECLUTTER AND PLAYROOM ORGANIZATION / 2022 DECLUTTER WITH ME / TOY ORGANIZATION 

I’m a House Manager for a large family and recently decluttered the kids toys. The parents had a party and other kids threw the toys everywhere. The mom was ready to get rid of everything after that. I know what toys their kids play with so we donated those. The thrift store told me the toys were sold to a family who mailed the toys back home to Honduras, which really reminds you that some kiddos don’t have any toys.

You got rid of so much stuff. Great job! You won't miss a thing and hopefully neither will they. I wish I'd gotten rid of more of my kids stuff when my kids were your kids age. Oddly, it's harder to get rid of as teens because every item is so nostalgic. You're doing great and you look fit and healthy :)

I just love you… you are so real. Reality is we often can’t keep things clean at all times when you have kids, events, and work! When I need to be motivated I watch one of your videos because your house actually gets dirty and cluttered…. Like mine! And you actually do the work to clean it and you tell us the truth that it’s hard sometimes!!!

Dear parents! When Your kids are very good behaviour all the time and always taking good care of their things, keeping their rooms very clean, loving their favorite things and want to make nice childhood collections of their things: books, clothes, toys, video games, clothes, DVDs and etc, then donataing is very wrong thing to do. If You have few space then storage boxes and shelves will help You out and Your kids will be very happy and thankful then, if they can keep their favourite things. Childhood things are very valuable and it is very sad, if they won’t see them anymore in their life. Every child should have the right to keep their things, if they can take good care of them all the time!!! Respectfully, Astra Viil ☺️🙏

I just love this channel and all the real life struggles. I remember being in that same boat w/ decluttering, $$ guilt over how much was spent and never used, etc., etc., and then I'd tell myself "ya know in 10 yrs these kids will be older, in a new season of life, and all these toys will be gone." This is great you got a head start before Christmas, and maybe doing another quick pass thru before more stuff comes in. Anyway, thank you for all your hard work and the content you bring.

I feel you girl. Your kids age are similar to mine. I have a 4 year old girl, 2 year old boy, and a 3 month old baby boy. Thank you for this video. I’m always looking for toy decluttering/organization videos. I just got bags and bags of hand me down toys. Now with more toys, it’s been so hectic trying to organize them. I feel like I need more storage bins or a more easier way to organize them when I clean them up. 😵‍💫

We always did a declutter of toys before Christmas! Even retired, I still declutter on a regular basis

Hi Michelle, that was such a profound statement you made but so true, we all have those things that are just plain hard but we have to attack whatever it is de-cluttering, finishing projects etc. The toys are always an issue added to the space you have available to store them. I had to finally ask family to give gift certificates, clothes are fine but it was a struggle because the want to find that toy they think the want. So with the gift certificates we put them towards events for the kids, especially when on vacation it is spending money for rides or playing games. Even for admission fees to theme parks, any type of entertainment we used them for a day of fun! I cut down on the amount for Christmas they just don't play with all the stuff after a week or two. You did a great job as always! Fantastic video!

Michelle you give such GREAT ADVICE!! I am a person that has a had time decluttering and your words hit home! I'm going to start with my craft room 1st!! Our son is now 6,5 years old, and when I declutter his toys, I include him in the process. He could choose what he would like to donate, but before he turned 5, I decluttered without him because he would not understand the process and wanted to keep every broken piece. And suddenly, everything was his favorite toy.:D

Its only hard if you think it is so dont think about it and go right ahead and do it and feel great later about when its done ❤

Wow Michelle, you did an awesome job on decluttering the playroom and bedroom! I also really like the new pieces of furniture you got that will help with keeping the room neat. I don’t have small children anymore but definitely remember trying to decide what to get rid of and keep. Nowadays it’s my stuff I am trying to get rid of that I don’t need. Example: SEASONAL DECOR!! 😂🤪

When my children were young, toy decluttering was constant!!! As soon a shot get rid of something they haven't played with for a year, they will !is it and ask for it🙄 Now I nave a grandchild, and Im very careful not to over buy for him, remembering how that stuff can just take over and eventually be thrown to the side.
